Natsu's POV

"I can't keep that promise.." What... "What do you mean Lucy?" She fake smiles. And it was obvious... I didn't want to make her feel worse than she already is... "Don't worry Natsu I'm fine!" That's a lie...but I will figure out sooner or later... "Ok..." "Hey Natsu I'm going back to bed (yawn) I'm tired..." As soon as she said that she fell asleep less than a few minutes. Heh, she actually pretty cute...I put a strand of her hair behind her ear. What am I doing...I need to go back to bed now...

In the morning
Lucy's POV

I woke up with a bit of a headache.  "Ow...What happened last night...I can't remember that much...Gosh, I'm too tired to remember..."

I got up from the bed and headed to the kitchen. When I get there it is seen Natsu in a hilarious apron... it said to kiss the cook?! I started giggling.... then he turns to me. I said while laughing, "H-Hi (laugh) Natsu...." "What? What is so funny?" Then he looked down and realized he was wearing that. "Stop laughing...," he says embarrassed. "Ok.... (Tries not to laughs and works) Ok... I'm okay..." As I say that Natsu takes off the apron. "Here..." He handed me a plate with eggs, bacon, and hash browns on it. He gave to me looking away... wait is he still embarrassed. "I-It's o-ok...don't b-be e-embarrassed..." He gently smiles then says, "Yeah...Thanks..." What's wrong with him...? Did something happen? Did I do something? "Hey, Natsu I'm sorry if I did something wrong to you..." He turns to me and says, "Oh...Nothing happened just thinking about something..." I know he's not doing good... "Natsu...It's fine... (puts the plate of food on the table) I-I will just leave..."

Natsu's POV

"I will just leave..." I put a shock in my eyes... I don't know what came over me but I grabbed Lucy's wrist and said, "Don't leave.." She turns to look at me then says, "Natsu I know I did something wrong to make you feel like this...I-I don't want t-to to make t-trouble fo-for you.." She pulls her wrist out of my hand then I say, "Wait please!" Then she kept on walking away. Suddenly she tripped on the cat food bowl. I ran towards her and put my arms around her back leaving us to fall to the floor. I'm on top of her and I was blushing a little while she was blushing but her eyes showed fear. "T-Thanks N-Natsu....again.." I said, "Lucy..." "Huh" "I know we had problems in the past but Lucy I-." "Meow?" We both turn to see Wendy's cat Carla there. Way to ruin the moment... "Is that your cat?" "No, it's actually W-." "Wendy...." "Oh no, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to bring up the pa-." She snakes away from me being on top of her. And she goes near Carla. She pets her gently then I see something go down her face...tears... "Wendy huh? I-I wonder how she is....." Then she gets up and says, "I will be leaving now..." I couldn't even speak...does she miss them? But she is afraid to speak to about them... What are you hiding....?

Lucy's POV

I walked outside and got my keys out. I was walking towards the gate and I got out. I was about to turn on the car but I see....no.....Sting....my stupid ex and who works for my...father. "Hey babe what are you doing HERE?" Shit does he know who Natsu is? And how did he find me? "Oh, I'm just exploring and doing a house tour!" "Really now? Then (puts his arm across my neck) why are you at Natsu Dragneel's house? The man who almost can beat your father's place in the company business? Shit... "I-I h-heard t-this is wh-where he lives s-so I wanted to explore-." He started to squeeze his arm tighter around my neck. "Tell me the truth...or you are de-." Then I close my eyes and started to think... Natsu helps me... Then for some reason Sting let me go in a few seconds after I said that. I open my eyes and I see... I was shocked... NATSU?! Wait how did he get here so quick?! Then Sting comes back and whispers in my right ear, "If you don't tell him to leave I will tell him myself and tell him that your father wants to see you..." No don't tell him that...he knows what happened with that in high school. He was in my math class...when that all happened. "Come on Lucy...," Sting says. "No!" "Excuse me?" Then suddenly he grabs my wrist and starts taking us to his car. I can't believe I'm doing but I was about to say help me but then Natsu already grabbed me and pulled me into his arm. "Hey man let me girl go!" "I don't care." "Fine let me tell you." "I DON'T CARE ABOUT WHAT YOU SAY!" I was shocked. The last time I heard him scream like that was... "
