Natsu's POV

We finally get to the hospital and I was nervous. The two doctors who were in the back with me open the doors and put down the flat stairs. The stroll Lucy's bed down and when they did that I let go of her hand.

I quickly rushed towards them and walk right next to them.

We get to a room called "the emergency room." No...I quickly rush in and some doctor told me, "Sir, you can not come in. We need to test the girl. We will be out in around 30 minutes..." The doctors rushed back in and I just sit in the chair close to the emergency room.

I had my hands on my forehead and I hear footsteps coming towards me. I look up to see Erza, Jellal, Levy, Gajeel, Wendy, and Romeo again. "Hey. Where's Juvia and Gray...?" I say. "They are coming soon. How's Lu-Chan?" Levy says concerned. "I don't know. The doctors didn't want me to come in. They say they need to do a test on her to see what happened to her. It's gonna be around 30 minutes..."

"That is nonsense!" Erza says pissed. "We are like family to her! And they are making us wait?! Unacceptable!" She says angrier. She was about to bust down the door. My eyes widen and I say, "No Erza please...!" She looks at me and so does everyone else. "We need to get the results so we can help her....that's all we can do...." They all were silent and so was I.

Erza sighs in defeat and says, "Fine. We will wait...but no longer than 30 minutes. If it takes longer I will barge in there and demand answers!" Everyone says except Erza, "Yeah we know Erza..." I put my hands on my forehead again.

Lucy's POV
In her mind...

I wake up to see everything around me black. Nothing showed any color. It's like I'm in a dark vortex...

I walk around and I finally see a color!

It's white...

A door...?

I walk to the door and I open it. Wow...

When I open the door to see beautiful clouds everywhere. And the stairs...

But where am I...?

I climb the stair to see someone...

It looked like a woman...

She was looking backward from me. I can't see her face. I finally get to her level and I walk towards her a little.

"Um Hello?" I say reaching my hand out to her.

"Lucy?"

My eyes widen. That voice...

No...

The woman turns around and it's Mom...

"Mom..." I say crying. I run to her and I hug her. But she doesn't hug me back automatically...a few 30 minutes or more, she hugs me...

"Mom! It's so good to see you! I-I have s-so many things I need to talk to you about!" "Sweetie..." "Yeah, Mom?!" "Listen..."

"Please be okay...

Be okay Lucy...

Please....."

Huh?! "Mom why am I hearing this?!" "Because you have a choice..." "What is it?" "You are close to death...you have a choice to be with me or be back alive..." "N-No! I-I can't choose! I don't want to leave you! But..."

Some clouds pass by that are on the floor and it shows Natsu sitting on a chair.

I just looked at him...I was silent...

"Who is that sweetie?" I get back into reality and I say, "Let's just say a friend with benefits..." "Do you love him?" I turn to mom and I blush a little. "Y-Yeah... Remember Natsu?" "Yeah what about him...?" I smile. "That's him." I point to the depressed man sitting in a hospital chair. "You're in love with Natsu Dragneel..?! I thought you hated him, Sweetie!" "Let's just say I had a change of heart...and so did he..." "Your father won't be happy to hear that you love a Dragneel..." "Yeah...He May have found out because of someone...(Sting)"

I turn to my mom and she looks at me. "So Lucy what's your choice..?" "I..I.." I don't know what to say...

"Lucy..."

I turn to Natsu in the picture.

"I love you...please don't leave me...Please...I don't want to lose you again..."

I turn to my mom and her smile. "I'm sorry Mom...but I have to go back... I love Natsu and he loves me because I just got proof because of right now. (I giggle)" My mom nods her head, Yes and I hug her.

She chuckles a little. "I'm sure, we are going to be seeing each other soon..." I smile and say, "H-How do I leave...?" "You can't for now. Your body has shut down. How did you get here anyway." "Um...I drowned from what I can remember..." My mom slaps her hand on her forehead. "Ah, Geez Sweetie..." "Shush..." I say with a pout...

Then suddenly a...portal comes in front of me... "I guess it's time for your body to be active again. But you are not going to wake up. You need to rest. Okay? Don't just bolt up to see your boyfriend." She says giggling in the last part. "Oh, I and Natsu have been through worse by people saying we are married." "Are you?" "No! I just said we are friends with benefits!" She laughs as I disappear.

"Goodbye, mom..."

Natsu's POV
54 minutes later

"That's it! I can't wait any-." Erza says angry but was stopped.

The doctors finally come out and say, "She's in a drowning coma..." My eyes widen. "WHAT?!" Everyone says except for the doctors. "Near drowning(or submersion injury) is the survival of a drowning event involving unconsciousness or water inhalation and can lead to serious secondary complications, including death, after the event, caused by oxygen starvation secondary to the drowning in water. It is often caused through aspiration of water into the lungs while attempting to breathe" one of the doctors say. "No..." I say while struggling.

Then suddenly we see Juvia and Gray comes running. "What the hell happened?!" Gajeel and Jellal sigh and say to Gray, "Let's have a talk about...we can't say it around Natsu..." Gray nods and follows them. The girls went in the corner of a wall and talked about it with Juvia. I see Juvia put her hands over her mouth and she was about to cry.

I look away. Then someone hugs me. I see Juvia and all the girls. But Juvia says, "I'm sorry I wasn't here....I'm so sorry Natsu..." The other girls but Juvia leave. I was silent for a few seconds then I say, "It's fine...you were probably busy..." She was silent for a few seconds and blushes a little. "Yeah.." I look to her. "What happened..?" I say to her. "...I told Gray how I felt about him..." "And?" "H-He said he will think about it..." she says looking little sad...

.....

I stand up and she lets go of me.

I need to get some fresh air...

I walk out of the hospital and I breathe in and out...

Then suddenly I hear two people talking. I turn to the corner to see the two doctors who were taking care of Lucy.

I hear, "It's most likely she's not going to make it...it's a 10% chance..." "Yeah...she lost a lot of blood and lost a lot of air. Her heartbeat is getting lower...Should we disconnect the machines from her...? We probably can see how her fate is going to end.." No...I was about to walk towards them and yell but no of the doctors says, "No..let just sees how things go...if it doesn't go that well, we will tell them...but...It breaks my heart to see how everyone is goon going to react when we tell them...especially the pink-haired man...he's going to be devastated...I can tell in his eyes, he's going to do everything he can to save her...you can tell right?" ..... "Yes...He will..."

Then I walk away from them...

Why does this have to happen...
