I Hate Him

Lucy's POV

"You're...Natsu's brother..." "That will be correct." "Why did you take me...?" He smiles gently. "Our father wanted to speak to you about something...probably Natsu...he will be here in a few hours."

I was silent. "You are this girl right?"

He walks towards me and hands me a photo.

I look at it and...it's me...and

Natsu...? "You two have met before. I think my dad had an argument with your dad. They left me to babysit you. I think Natsu was just angry and was staring at you. You on the other hand was trying to get along with him and talk but it didn't work. When our mom texted me to take a picture to see how you two were doing, I took this picture."

"I-I even knew you...how come I don't remember you and Natsu when I got older...?" "Our families only had one meeting and they even wanted you two to get married and have the company (A/N: OH WOULDNT THAT BE GREAT?!) but my dad told me that your father kinda asked strange about you have the company." I mumble, "Figures..." "What was that?" He says concerned. "Nothing! So-."

Knock Knock!

Zeref walks to the door and opens it. "What are you doing here so soon?" Zeref says kinda scared and surprised.

"The meeting ended early and I got the flight earlier. So is the girl here?" Zeref was silent for a few seconds and then says, "Yes...she is here..."

Then I see a tall man with spiky black hair. He has a semi brown beard and onyx black eyes like Natsu.

He walks up to me and kneels down to my bed. "Hello. You probably know me as Mr. Dragneel. (He lends it his hand) It's nice to meet you Lucy Heartfilia..." I hesitated to lend out my hand for a greeting but I didn't shake his hand. "I see...Well, you probably are wondering why you are here, I'm guessing." I shake my head Yes.

He suddenly looks at me seriously. "You are the reason some people can't live." "E-Excuse me?" I say kinda offended. He sighs heavily and says, "I don't have to explain it. But also I'm here to be talking about my son...you know Natsu don't you?" "Y-Yes..."

"Well I did some security camera work at the company...and one day, I see you walk in. And I was wondering...WHY would Jude Heartfilia's daughter come here? I also saw a contract between you and my son, allowing you to join the company, my son even agreed to let you join. And NOW he is gone along with all the people he allowed to join because they are his friends. Your father even called me up to say to me that MY son was with you at a BEACH resort! He has never done that for ANYONE. And why would he do that for you?"

"B-Because..." I was silent. I don't want to mess up anything for Natsu...

I clear my throat, "Because I was going to give information to my father about your plans for your company and we can overthrow you STUPID Dragneel's! Heh...your son is pathetic...
Me and him..that will never work..and plus...I hate him..." I lied...I just don't want to get Natsu in trouble...

I look at Mr. Dragneel and he looks angry...and a hint of surprised but didn't show it...

"What?" I say with attitude.

He chuckles. "Thanks for telling me your true feelings about him...I'm happy. He won't fall in love with a pathetic Heartfilia.. and...I'm going to be sending you to your father. I was planning to tell you something but never mind... Because WE are so-called STUPID Dragneel's, I don't deserve to let a ROYAL Heartfilia!"

He suddenly looks at the picture that Zeref gave me. "You look like your mother... heh but you don't act like her.." He snatches the picture of my hands and walks away from me...

When he is by the door, he looks back at me. "Get ready in a few hours. Zeref is dropping you off. So long...disgraceful Heartfilia..."

Then he closes the door, leaving me alone...I started to cry a little. I'm crying because I said horrible things about Natsu and the Dragneel's. And that I have to go back to Father...

I'm so sorry Natsu...

This life and this world are horrible.....

Then suddenly the door opens. I look to see Zeref there. He walks towards me and says, "So...What did our father say to you to make you cry...?" "He was saying stuff about why I was with Natsu at the resort and keeping saying me as a Heartfilia. And..." He looks at me. "What?" "For some reason, he was saying I'm the reason people can't be alive..."

Zeref sighs heavily and smacks his forehead lightly. "Of course he would say that..." I give Zeref a curious look. "How come..?" "Do you remember 7 years ago...your mother had a car crash-." "Please don't talk about that..." He sighs. "Ok but on that day our mother died as well. Urano Metria Street..." "Wait that's." "The same street your mom died..."

My eyes widen. My mom and Natsu's mom crashed into each other...

"H-How...?" "I heard from the security cameras around Urano Metria Street and your mom was in a hurry. She didn't look well... meanwhile our mom was driving kinda fast as well. She had a supplier meeting to hurry to. Both of our moms were turning the same way. And both on the two sides of the highway. They were both taking a ten. Your mom was going left and mine was going right. Then I guess they both weren't looking for a second but they both went through a red light and both crash into each other along with other cars..."

No...no...no.

"I'm so sorry..." He says sadly. I start to cry. "Me too... about your mother...she must have been wonderful."

He smiles. "Yeah...she was..." "Does Natsu know how she died...?" "No...he was too young to handle it...nor Dad couldn't even bear to tell him..."

We were both silents for a few minutes...

"Well...I have to take you home..."

I look up to him and I sadly nod.

He lends his hand and I slowly get up.

I put my arm across his shoulder and we start walking out. I look at my arm that is across Zeref's arm. My bracelet is still there. But not my necklace....probably lost at sea...

We walk out of the mansion and car beeps. I look to see a black car. Zeref opens the door to the passenger seat and he gently placed me down on the seat. Then he closes the door.

He walks to the driver's seat and sits down. He closes the door and sighs.

And he says, "Let's get you home.."

And we drove off....

I'm going to Father's house.....
