My Mothers Advice

Lucy's POV

I get into the apartment to see Natsu on the couch. "Hey!"  He raises his eyebrow up. "You're awfully cheery...did it go well?"  I nod my head Yes a lot. "That's great!" He comes up and hugs me.

I turn to see Natsu's face close to mine. I can tell I'm blushing. I don't know but why does he seem the happiest? "Why are you so happy about this Natsu?" He lets go of me and looks down. "I'm happy that you made up with them. After all... (He smiles) (Then falls to the floor) it is my fault... I messed up your life.... and you are here...with me." I walk to him and I kneel to him... "I'm not sure what to believe Natsu bu-." Suddenly I see something come down Natsu's face. No...tears...

"Natsu....?"

He just kept crying but softly so he thinks I couldn't hear...

I don't know what to do...

Flashback
Lucy 9 years old

I was running around in my backyard with my doll Michelle. Then suddenly I tripped. I see my knee and it was bleeding. I started to cry because of how much it hurts. Then my maid Spetto came. Then my mom. "L-Layla! I-I don't know h-how to clam her down." I turn to my mom and she smiles gently. Then she kneels down to me. She puts my head down and lays her hand on my head. She started to rub my head gently. I was surprised and I suddenly stopped crying. "Calm down baby it's going to be okay..." I wipe my nose and I stay still as my mom kept hugging me while rubbing the top of my head gently. I smile....thank you...

Flashback over

I turn to Natsu who was crying a little and I bring him towards me. I hug him and smile gently.

Pretend Happy isn't there

And he hugs me. I pet the top of his head gently. His hair is so spiky and soft... "Natsu it's going to be fine...It's not your fault...." "But I-." "Shhh...." He just kept silent... "Natsu..." "Yeah...?" I smile. I take his arms off of me. I take my hands and put them on the sides of Natsu's cheeks. I see that he is not crying anymore... I smile gently. I put our foreheads together gently and say, "Do you feel better?" "Yeah..." "That's good.."

Suddenly the door opens... we didn't lock it did we...

I see most everyone there just confused.

I push Natsu away from me and I quickly stand up. "C-Can I-I help you?" I ask stuttering. "U-Um we are going to leave now," Levy says. "O-Ok!" I lend a hand to Natsu and he slowly gets up. "Ok...let's go.," Natsu says. As soon as he says that everyone leaves but Lisanna, Levy, and Erza. "Come on Natsu!" Lisanna says giggling. Natsu looks at me then I say, "Just go! (Giggle) Have fun!" He nods and walks to Lisanna. Lisanna grabs him by the arm and takes him out. Before they got put Lisanna...gave me a...glare? That only leaves me with Erza and Levy.

Levy grins and says, "Care to explain~?" "W-What?" "What happened to you and Natsu~?" Should I say....? I'm not sure. "Let's Just go to the car. I'm going to tell you about the beach. (Sigh) It's been a rough afternoon so far..." I grab my sun hat and sunglasses. I bring my purse that only has my phone and diary inside. "Let's go..." I sigh. "I can tell this is not going to be enjoyable for you Lucy," Erza says while we are walking out of the door. I turn the door and I lock the door. I sigh heavily, "I'm sure it won't either..." Then we start walking downstairs.

When we finally get down everyone is in the car. Gajeel and Jellal are in the front. Wendy, Romeo, Juvia, and Gray are squeezed together in the next row. And Natsu and Lisanna are the back row. Lisanna is on Natsu's lap. "Lucy you sit next to Natsu. Levy and I will sit next to you but we need to squeeze together." I nod and I sit next to Natsu with no words. Lisanna just looks at me and kinda looks disgusted. Geez. What is her problem...

Then suddenly I see Lisanna tugging my long hair that almost goes up to my waist. What is she doing?! Suddenly she pulls my hair hard. "OW!" I quickly cover my mouth and Lisanna turns to me giving me the innocent look. "Oh, Lucy what happened?" She says while trying to laugh. I angrily chuckle and say, "Oh nothing! Just felt like SOMETHING was tugging my hair." I put my all my hair to the right side of my shoulder so Lisanna couldn't pull it. Levy whispered because she was right next to me, "What happened...?" I whisper into her ear, "Lisanna pulled my hair!" "WHAT?!" She says out loud. Mostly everyone looks at her. Except for Jellal who was driving. She whispers, "Why did she do that?!" I shrug.

"Ok, we are here again!" Jellal says.

Everyone get out one by one until it was only the back. "Lu-Chan you get out first cause you're in the middle!" "O-Okay..." I grab my bag and I was about to get out until I felt something bang against the back my flip flop. I fell out of the car and someone...catches me? I look up to see GRAY?! Geez... He puts me in front of him safely and says, "Are you okay?" I nod and I turn to Lisanna who got out cheerfully. Great. "Sorry, Lucy! I accidentally stepped on him back of your flip flop! Are you okay~?" What the actual fuck is wrong with her?! Calm down... I just can't let anyone get hurt because of me again so, "Yeah. I'm fine! Thanks for wondering...."

Gray put his arm across my shoulder and says, "It's the beach amazing?!" I awkwardly laugh. "Yeah... it sure is!" He picks me up bridal style and I blush. "H-Hey! Let me down!" He smiles. "Not a chance!" He carries me to the beach shore and places me under a big umbrella. He kneels down to me and bows. "Would the Queen want anything else?" He says while joking. I will play along. "No good sir. Just leave me under this umbrella or it's off with your head!" He backs away from me. "Ok ruthless queen here people!" He says out loud while standing up and pointing at me. I can't help but laugh.

He laughs as well.

Then suddenly a volleyball hits his face!
