As Chloe finished her note, a tear slipped from her eye and smudged the writing just enough to make Chloe angry at herself for it. She walked into the master bedroom, the one she used to share with Beca. She lay the note on the pillow that the brunette used to use every night. Chloe kissed the pillow and ran her hand down the slight impression the small woman had made in the mattress. Chloe smiled softly as she knew she would see her love again soon.

She walked to the dresser she and Beca shared, but instead of opening her drawer, she opened Beca's and pulled out the other woman's Mickey Mouse Titanium shirt, the ones that Beca had made for them on their HoneyMoon. On the back, we're the words Chloe Mitchell-Beale, I love you. Chloe had one just the same, but with Beca's first name replacing her own. Chloe remembered Beca to be wearing Chloe's on the oh so tragic night only 6 months prior to this equally as tragic night.

Chloe replaced the shirt she had on with her Wife's. She went to the basement and got into the safe she and Beca hid under the staircase. She pulled out the gun and grabbed some shells and retreated back upstairs. She walked into the living room and found her favorite picture of her and Beca. The one that was taken of their First Kiss as Mrs. and Mrs. Mitchell-Beale. Chloe returned to her bedroom and loaded the gun.

She made her way to the bathroom because she didn't want to disturb the bedroom where she and Beca had shared so many fond memories. She didn't feel too great about doing it in their bathroom either, but she wanted to be close enough. Chloe took the picture in her hand and kissed the smiling woman who was kissing her back in the photo. She hugged the photo tight as she picked up the gun and held it to her head. She smiled as she said her final words, finally at peace with what had become of her world.

"I'm coming, Beca."
