"No" dad says sternly and I drop my jaw, something I was always taught never to do, but this is important!
I frown. "Please dad! This party is an essential!" I say and he growls. "Asher can go with me" I try to convince. Asher walks next to dad and crosses his arms across his chest. "What's wrong?" I ask.
Dad glares at me. "Do you know how many drunks and perverted horny teenagers will be at that party? I refuse to let you get caught up in that kind of trouble. It's not worth it, Kitten" he says.
My frown grows. "Please... I met a new friend and I really want to get to know them better" I beg and their faces soften up. "Two new friends actually" my tone turns to a bit of excitement.
They look at each other. "Fine. You better be home by nine. Go to school you two" dad shoos us and I jump around with excitement. Asher and I wave goodbye before walking out the door and going into his car.
We drive off to school and it wasn't a long drive before we pull in. "Let your first day begin" Asher winks and I nervously pick my fingers. What if my teachers hate me? I wonder how much work I missed out on... oh my gosh. "Hey, stop thinking, you're gonna be fine" he wraps his arm around me.
I sigh as we get out of the car and walk inside. I amble, trying to spend as less time as I can in this school. "What do I say?! Say I skipped class?!" I begin to stress and Asher chuckles.
He shakes his head. "No M, if they say anything, but say you had a bad panic attack and had to leave. They'll understand since you've never skipped or anything like that" he comforts and I nod.
We spent the remaining time just talking then the bell rung. Sighing, we hug and say goodbye to each other before leaving to our first class. "Chemistryyy where are you" I say to myself and look to my right to see my class.
Well... this is it. I hesitantly put my shaky hand on the door knob and walk in to see people staring at me. Good job Maddie, they remember you having a freak attack yesterday. "Good morning ms. Frey! Your seat will be next to mr Stone over there" the teacher says softly.
I smile and nod. That didn't go as I thought it would... I guess this day can turn around. Once I make it to my seat, Dallas smiles at me. "Hey Mad! Sorry I left yesterday" he says nervously and I shake my head. "How are you feeling?" he asks.
I give him a thumbs up. "I'm okay now, thank you" I smile and he nods. "Your brother really helped me out yesterday" I say. He looks at me in confusion, making me return the look. "What?" I as softly.
