"Fucker!" I slam my phone on the bed. He's lucky the twins are at mom and dads so I can work with Alfie. But fucking seriously?! I decide to text him real fast before going outside.

I sigh and begin tacking out Alfie, not without a fight though. He bites me and kicks me, making me groan. Once he's tacked, I carefully get on him and squeeze my legs so he walks.
We begin to canter, but that's when he rears and bucks, causing me to fall out of my saddle. But thankfully I wrap my arms around him as he runs around the arena while I shout for him to stop, but doesn't.

I eventually fall off, landing in the wet disgusting muddy puddle in which the rain from yesterday left. Soreness fills my body and I groan while I get up. I slowly walk up to Alfie whose running around like a maniac. While he's not looking, I grab his reins and lead him out of the arena.
Fuck. My body hurts.
I untack him then let him loose in the field. He bucks and kicks me right in the shoulder before he gallops off. That's when a familiar motorcycle pulls up in the driveway and a familiar someone hops off if as fast as he could. "ARE YOU OKAY?!" Theo jumps over the fence.
I walk off and he runs up behind me. "Where were you when I actually needed you" I refuse to look at him as I walk into the barn. "When I've been calling and texting you repeatedly!"
I hear him groan. "Dove I can't be home with you every second of the day"
I turn my head to him and my eyes are now red from holding in tears, making him step back. "That horse kicked me, bit me and caused me to fall in a damn mud puddle. I'm sorry I want my boyfriend there to watch over!" I stomp and run off.
I run into the house and lock myself in off room. "Dove open the door okay? I'm sorry. I'm just working my ass off for this boxing back and uh..." he pauses and I'm suddenly all tears so I open the door.
"And what?" I ask.
He gulps. "The team and I are..." he pauses and sighs. "The Panthers and a Russian Gang are teaming up on us. We have to end them" he says and I drop my jaw. "I'm trying to protect you and the twins. That's why I want them to go to our parents when I'm not home"
I frown. "Don't get involved with those gangs... let the team do it so you can stay here and protect your girlfriend and babies" I say and he shakes his head. "I know you're in the team and want to be apart of it, but your girlfriend and twins need you so badly right now if a mafia is after us"
