I pick up a glass cup and throw it on the ground.
"Theo!!" mom comes running in and tries to pull me away from the glass, but I just look at her aggressively and growl, making me step back and flinch. I immediately shake my head and see terror in her eyes so I walk over to her and hug her, crying in her chest. "Baby what's wrong?" she softly asks.
I begin to shake from my crying and pull back. "F-Fucking D-Dallas!" I stomp and she pushes her eyebrows together in confusion. "He got the girl he wanted! How fucking grand is that huh?!" I shout.
Mom goes on her tippy toes to kiss my cheek. "Calm down baby... so you're upset Dallas has a girlfriend?" she asks and I don't say anything, just cry. "Don't worry it, love" she pulls my chin up. "One day you're gonna meet a girl who will give you butterflies every time you see her and she's gonna make you smile, laugh and hell, even cry. She's gonna make you so happy that one day you'll end up having kids with her and marrying her"
My cries get harder. "I think I found that girl and Dallas has her! He has her and I don't!" I stomp and her face goes blank. "She does mom... she makes me happy, smile, laugh and even cry" a tear falls off my cheek.
She immediately hugs me and rubs my back. "Oh The, my baby, I promise everything will come together. You mean the absolute world to me and it hurts so much to see your tough self break own crying. If it's meant to be, she'll come to you, but till then, let it be" she says softly.
My mom. My best friend and supporter. I love her with every bone in my body and I can't thank her enough for all she's done for me. Moms my parent and dad is Dallas's, nothing personal... just mom and I have a closer bond while dad and Dallas have a close bond.
I kiss moms head. "I love you so much mom... it just fucking hurts to see Dallas with the girl that should be mine! That should be in my arms!" I growl then the door opens... Dallas.
He sighs and walks up to me, but I step back. "Theo, what's wrong?" he asks then dad walks down the stairs in confusion. "I was just saying goodnight to Maddie when I heard glass break"
I look up. "Shit. I'll pick it up" I turn around, but moms hand stops me. I look at her to see her smiling and shaking her head. I smile and turn back around. "I'm going to sleep, tomorrow's Sunday and I want to just..." I try to think of an excuse. "chill out y'know?" I say before running up the glass stairs.
