The Darkness In Disguise

Chapter 3

Okay, so let me tell you the story. A year ago I was lost in the forrest. But it wasn't just any forrest, it was the Forbidden Forrest. I was there with four of my friends. Lacy, Evan, Liam and Snowflake. Those were my only friends at the time. But we all got separated the moment we walked into the forrest. I was with my boyfriend, Liam. We walked together, looking for the others. But we walked into a dark fog and when I walked out I saw that I was holding a Dark Angel's hand instead of Liam's. I shouted for Liam but a Dark Enchantress had taken him into the shadows and I couldn't do anything to change that. Nothing to save my boyfriend.

A tear rolled down my cheek as I kept on rewinding that scene then I saw his face looking at me, begging me for help but I couldn't do anything. "Layla, What's wrong?" Alex asked me looking worried. He wiped the tear off of my cheek and then he stroked my cheek. "What are y-" I stuttered but he silenced me. "Shhhh...." He said with his finger up againest my lips. He held my cheek in his one hand and leaned towards me. I leaned towards him until our lips met.

Once our lips touched I felt compassion. Just like I did in my dream. Our lips parted and I looked down at the ground. "Wow, that was amazing." He exclaimed staring at me. "Wait, are you blushing?" He asked me while smirking. He held up my head up. I looked into his eyes and he kissed me again. I pulled away, to look at the floor. "What's wrong? I'm sorry if I took you by surprise but why aren't you talking to me?" He asked me, holding my hand. "I... I've never k... Kissed anyone before." I stuttered, looking at the floor. I just don't know what to do. He was shocked at my words.

"I understand, don't worry. This is my first kiss too." He said as he stood up and walked away.

A few weeks pasted since me and Alex kissed. I keep on remembering it. But today is the day when me and Alex have free period together. I sat down next to him and started to fiddle with my pencil. "Hey." He said while looking at me. I looked up at him. I stared deep into his glowing amber eyes. "You're beautiful." He purred embrassing my cheek. My eyes widened. "What are you doing?" I asked him. Lucky for us the teacher wasn't in class and all the other students were too focused on their own lifes. Alex kissed me again. But he pulled back as fast as possible to make sure that we wouldn't get caught. "Why would you risk us getting caught?" I whispered, punching his shoulder. "So there's an us now?" He asked rising his eyebrow. "Well, I don't know. We haven't talked about it yet so maybe?" I replied. "I take that as a yes, babe." He exclaimed, taking my hand.

He sure does love holding my hand. But the moment he said 'babe' my cheeks begin to turn red. "You're blushing, it's okay. Babe." He said popping the last word. "Okay, maybe a little. Love." I replied, smiling as his cheeks became red. "So you do blush? I thought that was impossible for you." I said while smirking. He is never gonna live this down.

"Okay, so to make it clear. We are dating, right?" He asked while smiling. He looks really happy. He stroked my cheek and then he put his lips to my ear. "Meet me in the west wing of school, after class." He whispered. Before I could question him the bell rang. And we all had to exit class. Since we go to different classes we went separate ways.

The bad thing is that I was day dreaming during class for the rest of the day. The west wing of school is abandoned and some students have gone there, and come back with scratches all over them. I don't trust that but I guess he might think that I ditched him. So I guess I have no choice. Well, I do but he's my boyfriend now and I can't let him down.

After all our classes ended I headed over to the west wing. It was so dull. There was broken glass all over the floor and the ceiling was caving in. I was just standing at the entrance where it had some police tap to keep students out. Well, it didn't stop them. After 15 minutes I decided that I would start walking until something grabbed my hair and pulled me back. I screamed and screamed as I was being dragged on the floor by my hair. "HELP!!! SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!" I shouted but this creature put it's slimy hand over my mouth. I screamed but it was silenced due to it's hand being in my way. This is how I die, isn't it? Well, I guess I'll call my parents with my brain to tell them the good news.

It stopped and let go of my hair. The moment I stood up I was turned around to see the face of this horrible beast. I found the beat to be, Alex? "What the heck, you scared the CRAP out of me!!!" I exclaimed while slapping him in the face. He started to chuckle. "What's so funny?" I asked, while nudging him. He grabed me and dipped me down into a passionate kiss. At first my eyes were wide open and shocked. But then I was eased into it. After a few seconds he released me and stood me up next to him.

"Follow me." He said as he grabed my hand and dragged me up the stairs. At least u wasn't on the floor. But while we were walking up, he keep on looking back at me and smiling. My question is: Where are we going?

"Alex, why are you taking off your shirt, it's cold out here?" I asked in confusion. "What? You don't want to count my abs?" He told me while unbuttoning his shirt. "Alex, put your shirt back on, NOW." I told him. What the heck is wrong with him. "Don't tell me you've never... Oh My Gosh. You haven't, have you?" He asked me as he paused from unbuttoning his shirt. His eyes were widened. "What do you mean?" I asked in confusion
