Still walking down the street, I smiled. Smiling, something I rarely do... But after what happened with that guy, I couldn't stop smiling. The boys were unaware of this. We had some small talk here and there but it was all very... boring. I guess I just wanted an excuse not to pay attention to them.

All I could think about was that guy... He was exotic, if that makes any sense. He had mousy brown, swept over hair with gorgeous blue eyes and a body to die for.

I can't believe that he slipped a note into my pocket without the boys noticing... He was so dreamy. "Layla," Alex nudged me softly, "We're here!" He exclaimed as I looked up to the sign. There's no sign... Weird.

We started walking in... It's a restaurant? "What is this place?" I questioned while furrowing my brow at Alex. "You'll see." He winked at me and then lead us to a table for two. He pulled a chair out for me and I sat down while sending him a smile. "Thank you." I said, still smiling. "No problem." He returned the smile as he sat down on the opposite side of the table. "What about Liam?" I asked, worried. "You are going on a date with each of us, first Alex and then me." Liam stated. I turned to see the smile on his face. He put his hands on my shoulders, squeezed them and then left to sit at another table.

I turned to him, "I can't wait." His cheeks started to glow red and I turned back to Alex. "So what would you like, your royal highness?" I giggled as I picked up the menu that was laid in front of me. Iced coffee, Capachino, normal coffee, Hot chocolate. DEFINITELY HOT CHOCOLATE! "Oh, A hot chocolate please." I asked the waiter when I noticed that he had arrived.

"And I'll take an iced coffee, thanks." Alex stated. The waiter took down our orders and left immediately. I looked over to see that Alex's gaze was on me. "So, tell me something." I commanded, looking into his eyes. "Well... I like you." He chuckled loudly. "And... I don't know what you would want to know." He nervously scratched the nape of his neck. "Oh, well I can tell you some things about me if you'd like?" I was panicking. You know how everyone talks about that spark you feel when you know that this person is just meant to be yours... I wasn't feeling that spark with Alex. I never really have.

"Yes please." He laughed nervously, maybe trying to disguise how desperate he was for this not to be awkward. "Well, I enjoy being alone. I'm a little bit of a hopeless romantic." I giggle "I want to become an artist after this prison called high school is over and... I live with you." I chuckle softly. "Now it's your turn, kind sir." He smiles as I poke my cheek.

"Of course, your royal highness." He chuckles and I laugh softly. "I've always dreamed of being an engineer, I plan to be one after high school. I enjoy having people around me and I'm scared of... nevermind, it's silly." He laughs as he waves it off. "Tell me." I squinted my eyes, threatening him with my gaze. "Fine! I'm a little bit scared of butterflies." I burst into laughter as he says those words.

"Hey! Don't make fun of me!" He stated as he hid his face, embarrassed and humiliated. My laughing begins to calm down and I breathe deeply. "I'm sorry." I stated, I genuinely felt bad. "It's okay, I just feel like it's so stupid." He said, looking to the side. "Hey." I extend my hand and touch his hand that was laying on the table. "It's not stupid, just rare." I stated, sending a smile his was. He looked and me and returned it. "Thank you."

I giggled softly as his hand cupped my face. I gasped at this contact. He pulled his hand away, "I'm sorry. Did I hurt you?" He asked, genuinely worried. I took his hand and placed it back on my cheek. "You didn't hurt me, silly! I was just a little shocked, that's all." I smiled. He returned the smile and I noticed that his cheeks were pink.

I was about to comment on how much he was blushing when the waiter came back with our drinks. When the waiter arrived, Alex's hand had magically vanished from my face. The waiter placed both of our drinks on the table. "Would you like to order a starter?" The waiter asked. I picked up my menu again and looked at the starters. There was a lot of words on this page that I could not pronounce. I found one dish that I actually knew, pain à l'ail which was French for Garlic Bread. "Can we please get the pain à l'ail?" I asked and I looked over at Alex, wondering id he was just staring at that menu or if he was going to get something. "And we will also have the snails." He stated as he closed his menu. The waiter took down our orders and left again.

I chuckled, "Snails? Really?" He paused for a moment, probably trying to figure out what to say. "Well..." He paused again. "It was the only word you understood on the menu, wasn't it?" I began to giggled softly as he burst out into laughter. "Yeah." He said and continued laughing. I laughed along with him. After a few moments, we had calmed down and I took a sip of my hot chocolate.

I moaned in pleasure. "Oh my gosh... Literally heaven in a mug." I closed my eyes to savour the joy as Alex sipped at his iced coffee. "Is your drink good?" I questioned. "Yeah, it's okay." He stated plainly. "Do you wanna try mine?" I asked while I smirked. "Yes please." I offered him my mug and he took it gently. Then he placed the mug to his lips and tilted the mug slightly. He moaned in pleasure, feeling the same way that I had felt.

"Oh shit... That should be illegal." He said as he passed the mug back to me. "I know, right?" I replied as I took another sip. Me and Alex chatted for a while, waiting for our starters to arrive. I got to learn more about Alex and he was genuinely a sweet person. I placed my hand on the table as we continued to discuss if aliens were real or not. I said something that made him chuckle slightly and he rested his hand on mine. My heart raced as both of our faces had become red. I could feel the heat on my cheeks.

Once I had calmed down, I continued our conversation. Our hands didn't move from their new spots, it was comfortable. The waiter approached us with two plates. He placed them down on the table and then left. I could smell the garlic bread, it smelt divine. "I hope you enjoy your snails." I said, holding back my laughter. After we had finished our starters, Liam walked over to our table. "Could I possibly steal her for the rest of the evening?" He asked as he extended his hand out to me. "If you must." Alex said before kissing my hand. I blushed. "I enjoyed our time together, milady." He said as I took Liam's hand. "As did I, kind sir." I said as I smiled and walked off with Liam to a different table.
