(A/N: I'm not entirely sure I want to revolve this book around Mei in school. I think I'll keep it more of a background sort of thing. You've got to understand that she is very much an Independent sort due to training in her previous life. Another point I'd like to make is that, yes, Mei has a mental disorder even if it isn't completely obvious. Although she 'collects' people, it is mostly out of amusement or the fact that she's trying to build up her own kind of Kingdom. Think of it as power amassing by having loyal followers; if she helps them, for example healing or training them to be stronger, it would endear them to her and make them more willing to serve her out of 'love' rather than 'fear'.)

Mei had gone to her classes the next few days but they felt lacking to her. It had begun to frustrate her so she'd zone out and begin to plan ahead. Senri had been repeatedly poisoned by the mixture she administered to his entire body the past few days. It was no doubt a living hell for the poor boy turned girl.

During this time she had begun to formulate a training regiment for the boatman or as she liked to refer to him 'tall, dark, and handsome'. Senri hadn't found that amusing at all but since he was laid out on her bed he couldn't very well argue his points. When she had the free time, she'd pick up where she left off when she was at home; merging her different Qi together.

As previously noted, it was a tedious and extended process to merge the two warring Qi's together. Both Cultivating and Strengthening Qi were not meant to be merged but Mei was persistent in her endeavor. What she had realized though was the fact that the more she merged the stronger sense of impending doom hung over her head. She knew what it was though; Heavens Might. Mei would be subjected to it when she reached a certain point in the merge, this she held no doubt of.

Of course that was never going to be told to Senri otherwise he'd have kittens and although Mei liked kittens she didn't want Senri's.

After days of repetition, the day had finally arrived for them to both return to her Family's Manor. Mei wondered if her Father would be there this time. No matter though, it wasn't as though her parents bothered her if she was busy.

"Miss, you're not going to subject me to such horrors again today are you?"

Senri was still aching from the last time she'd smothered him in that strange fluid. At some point, when the original had stopped being painful, she'd added some other strange things to it and smoothed it over his skin. Which was as horrifyingly painful as the first time he'd been put through the torture. He would never admit that he did feel exceedingly more powerful though.

"Honestly Senri, you act as though I killed your entire family. I was obviously helping you become a force to be reckoned with and instead of thanking my genius you berate me. Or would it be whining? It all seems similar to me to be honest."

Mei was currently attempting to put the silk ribbon around her waist and tie a bow at her lower back to cinch her waist. It was a poor attempt. Senri took pity on her and went to help her; mostly due to his job of being her maid.

"Thank you, young miss," he mumbled slightly from behind where he was currently fumbling with the knot she'd created in her failed attempts.

"That wasn't so hard now was it?"

Senri shook his head but realized she couldn't see and mumbled, "No."

It was at this time that both of them felt something slightly buzz. The feeling was strange as it was both internal as well as external. Mei immediately walked towards the bed and sat down before concentrating on the Token that had assimilated into her body.

She could've done it standing up but honestly she had been standing for so long that she decided to just sit before retrieving it. The Token in question had lit up Green which meant she'd been approved for that silly Job. With a bit of her Qi she nudged at the information that had been given inside.

All of those who had been commissioned for the Job were required to go to the M.A.S. in two weeks time for a 'briefing'. Senri had brought his Token out as well to look over the information that Mei had been given since his had turned green as well.

"So, two weeks to make sure you won't be annihilated on this supposedly easy mission; which we both know is utter shit," Senri made noise as if to berate Mei for her language but she continued over his minuscule interruption, "So, you may or may not be visiting Yama in these next few weeks."

"Yama," he questioned and looked at his young miss as if she was complete nutters.

"Hmm," she hummed thoughtfully but didn't actually answer his question.

Mei heard his questions but wasn't really listening because her thoughts kept going to the fact that they'd need to have assurances that they would survive this Job. She knew for a fact that it would be highly dangerous and Senri would need an intense shortened version of training before they were needed. There was no way that she was going to allow him be killed after putting so much work into his body.

On that note, she would need to also use the same kind of mixture on herself. It didn't matter that she was in the process of blending her Qi together, she could only hope she'd face the Heavenly Might before the Job arrived. It was a hurdle that she knew would help strengthen her further if she survived.

If she combined all their training together... her thoughts drifted off when she also thought about Brax's situation. When she really thought about everything, maybe it would be possible to do the training, heal Brax, and still survive the Job. Perhaps Brax and Kai would be willing, after training them sufficiently in the limited time, to shadow them in case something untoward happens during the Job.

Mei really just had this feeling that the Job her and Senri had been hired for wasn't what it said it would be. Maybe it was an instinctive feeling but she wasn't going to ignore it. Which meant that she would make sure they were equipped with the skills in order to survive whatever was thrown at them. Plus this was a good opportunity to grind Senri's skills.

"Miss, we really need to go," Senri all but shouted right next to Mei, effectively knocking her out of her train of thought.

"Ah, yes. Help me up Senri, my legs are weak. Perhaps you should carry me," she fluttered her eyes at him and pouted a bit.

Senri looked petrified and made a strange sound in the back of his throat that sounded vaguely familiar to animals distress sound.

Mei rolled her eyes before swinging herself off the bed, "Fine. I'll walk by myself like a big girl. Stingy. Oh, make sure to put your boobs on!"

After Mei had thought it over, she had made Senri 'boobs' out of a bra that she had made; since bras didn't exist here. There was no way that it would've worked with the chest wraps that the woman of this world used to cover their breasts; it would've slipped down his body repeatedly.

Senri whimpered a bit, "Miss.. Why can't I just be flat chested?"

"Honestly Senri, you arrived here with boobs! Don't you think it'll be strange to leave without?! What do you think they'd say about me? Probably that I groped you so much that they fell off!"

Mei looked tragic as she exclaimed at Senri utter nonsense. Unfortunately, Senri thought that Mei probably spoke the truth. It wasn't like he was that familiar with anything except the responsibilities of a maid, that includes common sense.

Thus, Senri slipped the bra on, adjusted his ample chest, and walked towards the docks to head home with his young miss. Even if he was a bit down trodden along the way by all the leering.

(A/N: I know that the updates are very slow and I'm really sorry about that but aside from the fact that this book is rather difficult for me to write I've also had a hard time concentrating lately. Thanks to all the Readers who have stuck this out. )
