There's no substitute for a great love
who says,
no matter what's wrong with you, you're welcome at this table.— Tom Hanks

I smiled as Addison brushed up my make up. Applying glitter to my cheek bones and eyes. She put an extra layer of gloss on my lips too.
"You're going to be fine. We all are." She assures me. I'm a nervous wreck when it comes to cheering in front of elite judges. People from Julliard were going to be present too.
"Thanks." I smile back at her.
"Just remember to kill them with a smile." She reminded me showing me a smile flaunting her pearly whites.
The blonde woman I've always looked up to walked into the smallish dressing room provided for us. She gave me a smile and I stood to hug her.
"Now honey take it easy. Its just regionals not your wedding day." She jokes and I laugh.
Everyone is rooting for you and your sister and of course your girls." she hugs me again.
"Everyone?" I ask in confusion. Only she and Gwen came along with I and Valerie.
"You'll see." Then she winks and walks away. I checked the time and saw that it was already five.
"Who's performing now?" I ask Addy.
"Uh.... Kingston memorial. We're up after West side which is after Kingston." She breathes out.
I have to pull my self together. I mean I've been waiting for this for so long.
Very soon our name was announced and we walked out in a single file. Big smiles on our faces.
We stood in the middle of the large hall and in the middle of the crowd I spotted my family. Dad, mom, Gwen, Seth, Romeo ( Gwen's boyfriend ), Nathan, Gayle, Anais, Jason held a sign up for Valerie who from the corner of my eye I could she was blushing bright red. Even Amy was there. She sat with Seth who was sporting a shirt with Vaughn on it.
The music started and we did our things. We formed a pyramid first consisting of me at the top, Addy, Angela, Valerie, Darla and Gloria or whatever her name was. I did a flip and landed on the floor and I heard a whistle from Seth. I smiled at the crowd and the judges as I landed and val and Addy did cartwheels in the back.
Darla did a back flip and the the girls formed three pyramids with me in the middle on top and Addy and Angela at my sides. We did double flips at the same time and landed perfectly with smiles in the hands of other girls.
We did a little more jumping and cheering when our time was almost up we formed the largest pyramid yet. I was on top of course then I did a triple flip which I spent all day yesterday mastering. I did a little prayer and jumped off doing the flip. I landed almost perfectly. I didn't fall though, no I'm too graceful for that.
We were done so we lined up and bowed before starting away. Listening to the cheers from my family made tears come to my eyes. One of the juliard people even gave me or us a standing ovation.
After five minutes we were called for the announcements.
They were starting from third place and they announced the California jaguars my heart skipped a beat. The next I heard our name and I was the first to scream. We came in second which meant we were off to nationals. I didn't care that we weren't first anyway. It didn't matter.
