A new start

chapter 14

"Demi are you okay?" Uncle Sean asked me as my head almost fell on my pancakes.

"Yea I got sleep but I am still sleepy, Uncle Sean."

"Why don't you eat a few more bites then you can take a nap." Mark said feeling my head.

"Oh god, she is sick get her out of here! if I get sick I can't go out!" April said.

"April calm down, Demi when you're done eating go back to bed honey." Mark said cleaning his plate up.

"Mark, I don't want anymore can I just go to bed now?" I asked trying to keep my head up, everything hurts.

"Yeah go ahead, when you get hungry we can make you some soup."

"WE?" April freaked, "I am going out tonight."

"April why don't you stay home tonight and we can have some time to ourselves. It has been forever since we got to be together." Mark said as I stood up.

"Nah, I am good. I'll rather go out and get drunk."

I went into my room and closed the door then climbed into bed. I hugged Yoshi really tight as I closed my eyes. I don't know how long I was out for but when I woke up all I could feel was the pain. My side hurt so bad.

"MARK! PLEASE HELP ME!" I screamed. Mark came running in.

"What's wrong?"

"My side." I started to cry.

"I am going to get you to the hospital, hang on little one. SEAN!"

"I'm right here I ran after you did, what do you need me to do?"

"Get a bag together in case they keep her, I am going to get her in the car." Mark wrapped me in my blanket at carried me to the car.

"Yoshi," I wined.

"I got him!" Uncle Sean said behind us carrying my bag. "I saw you dropped him." After Mark got me in my seat Uncle Sean handed me Yoshi and got in the front seat. "Where is the nearest doctor office?"

"Too far away, plus she needs a hospital." Mark drove. Every time the pain got worst I would hold Yoshi tighter.

"Try going to sleep, it will take the pain away." Uncle Sean said.

I nodded my head and fell asleep when I woke up Mark was carrying me into the hospital.

"Please, my daughter needs help! her side is hurting her like hell please someone help her." he was starting to cry.

"Here I can help, what's wrong?" a lady came with a bed and Mark put me on it.

"My side hurts really bad."

"What side honey."

"Right."

"Okay, we will take care of you." She looked at Mark, "Sir I am going to need you to stay here but I promise I will look after her."

"Thank you," Mark said as they wheeled me in the back.
"Honey, what's your name?"

"Demi."

"Nice to meet you, Demi, my name is Amy and everything will be okay."

"You said you promise."

"Yes, I did. now, Honey, I know you are in a lot of pain so I am going to give you some medicine for that. it will make you very sleepy. Don't fight it."

"Okay."

Mark's POV

"Dude calm down she will be okay," Sean said putting Demi's stuff down.
