i find this idea very cute ahh
this takes place in new york - or any urban city you would like, i personally love new york but that's just me.
dodie and some friends, they can be additional cast members or be her actual friends. she was walking down the street and becomes interested in this street performer. ( you can decide what they play, whether they sing, dance etc. )
so, she tells her friends to go on as she stays to enjoy the performance they are giving. after their performance, she contemplates about going to talk to them. but choose to because she likes them. they start talking, exchange numbers and things play off from there.
have some drama in the book, it makes it a lot more interesting for people. plus this is a slow burn! remember that. but this book is very musically influenced and happy until you give the drama it needs then have a solution blah blah.
honestly, it doesn't even have end with together. you can make it where they just end on good terms and go their own ways or just be friends and stay that way. but it's your choice obviously!
