Marinette's POV:

It's so cool that I get to sit with my best friend on the plane! I wish there was a chance that I could sit with Adrien, but that's unrealistic. Anyway, we all have to be at the airport by 6:00 in the morning since our plane leaves at 6:45. Alya and I are so excited for our journey to such a beautiful place. Knowing my best friend, Alya will probably bring her polaroid camera to snap a few pictures during our long flight...

I'm now at home doing a rundown of everything I am going to bring. Sketch book for my designs. Brush pens for calligraphy. Small sewing kit for any touch ups on the swimsuits. As for Tiki, I will buy her some fresh cookies from the airport food court. I'm just scared how this summer will turn out since we will have two trouble makers on this trip (Chloe and Lila). Hoping for the best is all I have...

THE MORNING OF THE FLIGHT~~~~

(still Marinette's POV:)

Today is the day. I got up at 4:30 to be safe since I always run late. I took a shower and put on some black leggings, a gray sweatshirt, and put my hair down which I covered with a black cap. If you ask me, it reminded me of a chat noir inspired outfit. I got my suitcase and backpack when I was done with everything. It was time to head downstairs to say my last goodbyes to my parents. I then went in a cab to the airport. By the time I got there it was 5:48 where I greeted Alya and the others.

Alya's POV:

"Hey Mari, you look great. Kind of like you came from Chat Noir's fashion line. " I lightly laughed.

"Thanks... I think? And if you haven't noticed, I'm not late for once in my life." she said with a little bit more sass than expected.

"Woah Okay, is Mari still in there, do you have a fever or something?" I said while putting my hand on her forehead for extra sarcasm.

We both laughed from our conversation and turned to see a beet red Adrien. I looked at his direction and he finally snapped out of his little daydream. I wonder what that's all about, but I may have a few guesses. The plane was going to leave in about 15 minutes and I'm so excited to sit with my best friend.

Third person POV:

Everyone was now boarding the plane and all the luggage was sorted out. Chloe of course was making a fit because she wanted to be in first class. All the other students went to their assigned seats. It was about 2 hours in where Marinette was sketching, Alya was using the free WIFI to update the Ladyblog, Nino was creating a remix to put on a montage of this trip, and Adrien was sleeping since he had a late photoshoot the night before. Now it was about 8 hours into the flight and Alya had a very clever idea she had thought about.... Marinette was fast asleep. She turned around since Adrien and Nino were behind her. Adrien was drinking some water when he looked up to meet eye contact with her.

" Adrien, the air conditioner is broken here and I'm getting really cold and I was wondering if we could switch places for a bit. Just enough to get warm.. please?" Alya said with a weak smile.

" Sure Alya, whenever you feel like going back just let me know." he said while he moved his position to the seat in front of him.

Adrien's POV:

I was finally getting settled in Alya's seat when I looked over to see Marinette passed out cold. Since she was facing the open window, all I could see was her hair that she left down. Surprisingly, she looked peaceful and sort of.... pretty....

What am I thinking, Mari is my best friend and nothing more
