Aloha everyone! I missed you all so much. Since this whole quarantine, I have been reading so many wattpad stories such as the AFTER series. I've been so absorbed in books to gain so encouragement to continue this story. Here we go :)

"M-Marinette?!" exclaimed Adrien after the whole ordeal of mistaking him for a kidnapper. I look up at him in complete horror and see a small red area on his forehead where we bumped each other. I try to get my thoughts in order while becoming flustered from seeing his abs. They were chiseled like a greek statue and so .... touchable? Nope, I need to focus and get out of here. I finally gather the courage to speak up.

"Uh-uh.. hey adri-adrien. Why are you in my room?" I barely squeak out. Great... Just great. I mentally facepalm myself from hearing my shackey voice.

"Hi, Marinette. Sorry about scaring you and making you fall. Also... I have my own card, so I think this IS my room." Adrien seems just as confused as I am and I feel something's not right. I decide to speak normal and be mature about our situation.

"I think we are both confused so let's look at our cards and see if they might have duplicated it."

We both grab our cards and show each other. We check the front and the back and sure enough, all the numbers are the same. It seems they had duplicated the room cards by accident.

" That's really strange considering this is a high end hotel" Adrien laughs from the irony of the mistake. I giggle with him until we both look at each other and I become very aware that he still doesn't have a shirt on. I look away and he gets the hint from my lack of eye contact. From the corner of my eye, I see him go to the bathroom. About 5 minutes later, he comes back out looking more presentable.

"Listen, I'm sorry about the mistake. I'll go and tell the front desk about what happened. You can stay in this room." I say since I was the one, after all, who came in after him. I look up and Adrien seems...troubled?

"No, it's okay Mari. I was the one to scare you, so the room is yours. I can go and figure something out with the front desk."

I must admit, Adrien's act of chivalry did catch me off guard. Since I am an independent woman, I say, "I can handle this Adrien. Thank you for your offer, but I can assure you that I can find another room."

"I can't let you do that. I am a gentleman and cannot have a young lady wander around a hotel alone." Adrien says with a bit more emphasis on not wanting me to go by myself. I find my cheeks flushed red from the sudden though of him walking with me. While being in the mist of my quiet behavior, I think of another idea.

"F-fine! Let's go together so that they don't think we are pranking them." I say with less courage than I anticipated. My statement came out more like a question. I wait for his reaction and notice he is chewing the inside of his cheek. He seems a bit nervous. It's probably because he doesn't want to be seen with an awkward person like me. I sigh and leave my suitcase on the floor for now until I get everything sorted out. I grab my purse and card and begin to head for the door. Right before I open it, Adrien gets to it first.

"Wait for me princess." He says to me with a charming smile on his face. I look down and thank him after he closes the door. We head for the door and begin going down. We make it about 3 floors down until we stop for another person to get on. In walks a man in a business suite who doesn't look particularly happy. He looks at both me and Adrien and looks away with disgust. A part of me is intimidated, but I keep an eye on him. He seems suspicious...

"Excuse me miss, you seem awfully familiar," says the tall business man. One thing I know for sure is that, I have NEVER seen this man before. "You must be mistaken sir, I don't recall seeing you anywhere." I begin to feel uncomfortable as the man leans down to look at me. "Miss, you have very pretty earring." The man begins to reach out to touch my earring until I feel angry... really angry.
