~If you leave me, I'm in love with the monster. If you love me, let me go. ~

Song of the Chapter: Leaving by Ember Island (attached above)

I was sitting in the corner of the room for hours watching the moon from the window. It was unusually bright today with glint of mischief.

My ears became strained to hear the sounds of the wild animals in the forest. I felt like a caged prisoner, trapped under the metal bars.

A couple of more hours went by and then the sun began to rise warming my skin with its radiantly bright rays.

Tiredly I strolled downstairs were Mrs Garvin was already making breakfast.
"Are you good dear?" She quivered looking rather concerned.

"Yeah, deer would be good." I breathed quietly as the door pried open to reveal Alec who entered the house in sports clothes.

He looked at me for a silent moment before reaching into the fridge for a water bottle.

"You didn't sleep well?" Mrs Garvin asked, the question directed to me, just like his brown eyes.

I didn't dare to make eye contact but rather started right ahead.
"too much on my mind." I shook my head at the bunch of pancakes in front of me on a plate. I was starving but the smell of the pancakes just made my stomach queasy.

"You need to eat." Alec signalled with his right hand.

"I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS, I JUST CANT BELIEVE THIS!" Gabriella ran downstairs in panic as Alec gave her a concerned sweet look.

I stirred the coffee in the mug watching as the liquid twirled in it.
"What did you use your conditioner first and then your shampoo?"

Gabriella gave me a dirty look before approaching Alec at the table.
"Jake used my bathroom and now it stinks like a trashcan!" She cried tugging Alec's shirt.

"Matches your personality." I muttered thinking out loud. All eyes turned to me and I could just flash red cheeks in surprise.

"Mind you, I need a space to sit!" Gabriella snapped kicking the leg of my chair in desperate mode. I glanced at Alec from the corner of my eyes getting simultaneously frustrated at how he didn't even pay attention to his 'mate'. His focus was on his smart phone which was displaying some sort of text or an email - the CEO business I will never adapt to.

"There's another chair over there." I croaked with no wish to continue our futile one-sided conversation.

"I want to sit on that one!" Her girly voice boomed into my ears so loud, I've decided I had enough.

"Why don't you just shove it-" I felt a bang against my skull. Looking up I saw Mrs Garvin with a long wooden spoon just pushing the utensil away from my head. That hurt alright.

"OKAY ENOUGH!" Her voice was hoarse with emotion, her eyes turned glossy from tears. She wasn't upset with Gabriella, or at least I didn't see she was. Her gaze was pointed to me, like she blamed me for the wreckage of her morning.

"I am not letting two little girls bicker in my kitchen! Specifically you." Mrs Garvin yelled but never once swinging her eyes towards the main cause of the argument. Her wooden spoon directed at me with disgust.

"Ever since you've arrived, nothing was fine. How many have to die before you understand?!" The old woman pressed on her eyes shining a brighter yellow shade. The older werewolf was close to loosing control and I was ready to pounce back.
