Once I got home I ran up stairs to my room. Sure, not everything in my room was clean, but it's clean enough. I ruffled through a box that my dad gave me when I was younger. There was a jar in there with a black like substance with tap on it that said "Open when fifteen" Just a few more weeks. I tapped on my window for a few moments. My little sister, Sarah, walked into my room. She rubbed her eyes, probably from waking up. I sighed looking back out the window, "What dream did you have this time?" She got onto my bed and answered saying "You and Mom went to go see Dad. But only you went to talk. Dad told you more about his story. Then you came back home, Mom makes steak, burns it, then we eat McDonald's again.. Then I woke up." I nodded. Sarah told my mom once about her dreams, all she said it was just a coincident. We both knew it wasn't, My dad's stories had to be true. I petted her hair for a moment. "Do you know your name yet?" I shook my head. "No. But I know Aurther isn't my name." She replied "The name doesn't suit you at all!" "It really doesn't" I  said.

It was silence until we smelled smoke, then my mom yelled "Im going to pick up some McDonalds!" Me and Sarah sighed. It's our fourth time in two weeks eating. Less than the usual weeks. We kind of got sick from it. But it's what all we can eat without complaint. When we saw Mom's car drive out of the drive way I sat onto my bed and turned on the tv. The usual, Politics, music, weird tv shows. Nothing.... like us. Like me, Sarah, and Dad. "The mails here." Sarah said seconds before the door bell rang. I sat up from my chair I was sitting in and went down stairs, careful not to step on our ginger and black spotted cat, Athenrix, while going down. I opened the door wide enough to get the mail. I then went through it, only to see ordinary stuff. Ad's ad's more ad's. I grunted out "why isn't there anything unusual here?" "Maybe its because you don't know." Said a voice. I looked around to see nothing. I banged my fist onto my forehead. They're just voices, their not real. But I'm not insane! "Yeah, just a helpless small voice, and you are correct, you aren't insane, but you are here." "Grah!". "Where are you?!" I yelled, the voice replied "Everywhere and no where, does it really matter?" I started shaking my head violently. "You're going to get a head ache from that." The voice said again. "Please... go away.." I said to nothing. It's not real! Just play normal until Dad gets out! "I can't, I chose you anyways, sadly you're father wont let me give you everything until you're fifteen." It said again. I looked around "What?" "Look harder" Said the voice. I looked around still seeing nothing. The voice laughed "You're not looking hard enough" it teased.

I blinked a few times and started to really focus. A girl with long dark brown straight hair, green eyes, and pale skin was eating a apple looking at me. She was sitting on the counter. She wore a long dark red dress and black flats, the clothing that stuck out the most was her hat. The hat was tall and black. She smirked, "You found me." I backed away, "Who are you?!" I asked. She hopped off the counter and started walking towards me. "Anthea, but you nicknamed me 'voice' I guess" She said taking another bite of the apple. My breathing hitched, this was real, I was seeing one, something dad told me about! "You're one of those things my dad told me about!" She bowed and looked up at me. "One of many" She said. I asked "How many.. are there?" She chuckled. "Who knows, thousands, millions even." She replied. Anthea then continued "You could replace me if you could, but you can't your stuck with me, but me and your dad made a agreement I wouldn't make you a Elip until you were fifteen years of age. Strangely only with you though, he let Mathen Elip your sister though." Dozens of questions came to mind but I only spoke one "So, I really ain't crazy?"  "Oh, You are." She continued "Only in this dimension." I raised a eyebrow "What?" She shook her head "Can't explain."

"Well why not?" I said. Anthea rolled her eyes, "Laws." "What laws?" I asked. Anthea sighed "You ask to many questions." I shut my mouth. She looked at her apple and spoke out "An Elipsis is like a ghost but not. You can see us but we don't have a physical form. Only you and other Elipsis' can see me. Unless you have your fathers talent" She sighed out dreamily, "Your father can see everything easily, he would've spotted me faster than he would spot a human. He does see everything there is. Fairies, Witches, Ghosts, Time tickers, everything, sadly you didn't inherent that, Sarah did, we talk often."

The front door knob started turning. Anthea hurriedly said "We will talk soon" And disappeared into thin air. Mom walked in with McDonald's. I ran up to her yelling, "Mom! Mom! I'm not crazy! I'm not insane! I saw one! I saw a Elipsis! Her name was Anthea! She knows Dad and-" I was cut off from this. "You're just hallucinating" Mom said. I replied "No really! She's real! I saw here! Ask Sarah!" My mom shot me a look and sternly said "She is not real! I wish I would never say this but you are crazy! Just please keep your nonsense to yourself! I don't know if you're doing this for attention or if you're actually insane!" I slowly closed my mouth and stepped back. "I'll go get Sarah for dinner then.." She sighed "Thank you."

I ran upstairs to see Sarah sitting on the top step. "You heard everything, didn't you?" she replied "I didn't need to hear it." I knew what she meant. I looked at her sadly "Sorry that you had to hear that.. I just want to prove to Mom that me and you aren't crazy and neither is dad. She sighed and shook her head "We will always be known as crazy here." I closed my mouth knowing it was true. I hesitantly said "It's time for dinner."

Dinner was awkward to say the least. It was silent, Sarah didn't seem to mind, but I was bursting at the seems. After me and Sarah finished eating I threw away our trash as Sarah went back up stairs. Mom sighed out "Im sorry for yelling earlier, but you have to learn these things aren't real. You have to let those childish things go." "I know what I saw!" I yelled. She yelled back "You're seeing things!" "Mom! Listen to me for once! They are real!" She yelled back slamming her palms onto the table "THE ONLY THING HERE THAT IS REAL IS YOUR INSANITY AND UNSTABLE LIFE!" Anger grew inside of me until I saw tear drops fall down from my Moms face. "Please don't end up like your Father" I spoke out "Mom I'm sorry just-" She cut me off for the second time today. "Just go to your room, I don't want to see you until morning." I tried speaking again "Mom! Plea-" "Go to your room!" Tears were streaming from my moms eyes. I ran up stairs feeling tears come to my eyes as well. It wasn't fair. Nothing was anymore.

Sarah was right, We will always be known as insane here.
