Explanations

Me and Sarah grabbed the essentials. Toiletries, clothing, snacks, and even phones. But Mom grabbed my phone and Sarah's and broke them. "We won't need them for where were going." Mom continued "Its better to not have them anyways, they could track us.." I raised my eyebrow at this, "Who?" Mom just shook her head, "No one.. Just grab your luggage and the cat and lets go. We won't have much time.. We need to get there before your birthday is over." I forgot it was my birthday today.. Finally fifteen. She huffed out as I asked "where are we going?" And replied, not really answering my question "where you were born." I pushed "you never told me where I really was born. But most babies are born in hospitals so.. what hospital are we going?" She buffed out again, "well, you and your sister aren't like most babies."

As we were about to leave Ethan, limply, got up, only to be hit with the same messed up sword as she did earlier. Sarah yawned as she answered the question I was gonna ask Mom in the car "It's the sword Dad gave her before they got married." Mom's hand gripped the handle tighter, "yeah.. but right now is not the time to look back at memories. We have to get your dad back before the Dimension Guardians find out as well." Someone hmmed behind us, Mom swung her sword at the person. "Hey!" Said the voice before fully becoming visible, It was the girl I meet two days ago! Anthea! 

I yanked at Mom's sleeve, "Mom look! It's the woman I told you about!" Mom scowled as Anthea placed both her feet on the floor after, uh.. flying? Levitating? Whatever you wanna call it, over to us. Mom growled out lowly, "oh yeah, I know her." Anthea flipped her hair to behind her shoulder and spoke out "The Dimension Guardians might have sent him for a warning. Or maybe too wipe out these two then grab my essences!! Oh, then they could have killed you and Matthew.." Anthea sighed dreamily but was snapped back to reality as my Mom glared daggers at her. Anthea rolled her eyes, "Anyways, you guys need to start heading there, but I just can't wait to see my Matthew again!" She dodged my Mom's eyes for a while after saying that, "You mean my husband?" "Tomato, tamato." Anthea waved her off. 

Mom grumbled, "let's just head to the car." I looked over to Sarah and asked "Dimension Guardians? Essences?" Sarah shrugged "I have nothing to say. It's... Blocked off, I guess I should say." I didn't have what she had, so I guess I'll never find out what she means. Mom slammed her car door, rolled down the window, and yelled; "Hurry up! We don't have all the time in the world" 

One me and Sarah got into the car Anthea appeared into the passenger seat scarring my Mom as she turned on the car, "I wish you would stop doing that." Anthea stuck her tongue out at her. She was so formal and proper around me. Why was she like this around Mom?

Anthea turned around, "you two are probably confused about this situation. Probably because your mom never told you the truth." Mom grunted out "Are you implying that I was lying to my children?" Anthea clicked her tongue and answered "you always denied Matthews sayings to the kids." Mom was silent. Anthea continued "Let's just start from the basics, You two are not from this dimension, their aren't really names for the dimensions, so I can't really say which dimension you two are from. Your Dad, and how wonderful he is, everything he said is true, isn't he just amazing? Anyways, Sarah's Ellipsis already claimed her, but I bet he is still too shy to talk to her. As for you." She said looking at me, "I'm yours, that in your jar is my essences. You lose it before your birthday I kill you if I'm not already killed. That is my physical Elip for you. It will grant you my abilities." I asked "which is..?" Anthea answered "I'm not really sure to be exact. But I can reassure you it won't hurt you to the point you die when the essence enters you." "Enters me?" I asked. She waved me off saying " You'll figure it out soon." Sarah spoke up "what about Dimension Guardians? And how exactly are we getting too our dimension again" I looked at my younger sister with more respect than ever, she seemed to have the careless persona and attitude as she usually does, it's like this isn't affecting her at all. As for me on the other hand, I'm about to pass out. 

Anthea clicked her tongue along with my Mother when they heard Dimension Guardians. "They call themselves Guardians but they send monsters to do their dirty work" Mom grumbled, Anthea growled out "They all act like royalty, but their all just spoiled grown up brats." Mom nodded in agreement. Mom kept her eyes on the road and talked to us at the same time, "Dimension Guardians the people, or things I guess I should say, who made this dimension. Anyone who comes from a different dimension are supposed to be executed. Its a miracle we lasted this long. Sarah doesn't really have a choice in matter when or where her abilities work, er-, happen." She continued on "Apparently they send monsters, Elipsis' who turn bad and possess something other than a human, to do their work." "But Ethan- er, That monster looked human, well until he became a giant red ogre" I added. Anthea placed her hand onto her forehead, "Maybe monsters are able to change their appearance now, or maybe the Guardians are helping them."

Mom cut off another car on the freeway as we passed another exit, "One more exit, Anthea you better explain faster." Anthea sighed "it would have been better if you told them when they were younger!" "I was protecting them!" Mom snapped at Anthea. "Protecting them from what? The truth?!" "I was protecting them from this!" "Your oh-so-called protection is what landed them here!" "Well if they knew we could have been killed!" Anthea clenched her hand, "Well maybe instead of you butting in on me and Matthew's first deal that i'd  Elipsisies your son when he would turn seven this wouldn't happen!"  Mom slammed on he breaks as we parked into the parking lot of the mental hospital "He's my son and Matthew is my husband! It's not my fault Matthew chose me over you!" Mom took a deep breath "All of you get out, I need a second to think." 

Sarah and I got out of the car while Anthea appeared at the doors already, "Ill explain more when we break your Father free."

And with that, she pushed open the doors and walked inside. Im not too sure about the others but my heart was racing, and so was my brain, Everything today seems so surreal, like something you'd get out of a movie. But it wasn't just that, maybe it's because Anthea, the person, or Elips, who's supposed to 'grant me abilities' or whatever liked my Dad. This is hurting my brain to much. 

Sarah tugged at my shirt and said "Don't worry, you'll be okay." I held her hand and tightened my grip, not to hard though, I wasn't very strong so I don't think I could hurt her anyways, "Thanks."

Today was the day I learned, im not crazy, everything I thought was real is real. But most important is that I didn't know how much danger I was in for.
