Two days since I've been sick and remembered those kind of memories. Since then not much has happened other than Hunter and Dylan trying to teach Eden how to use a weapon. Wolf coming home with the tip of his ear cut off. Me killing the bastard who did that to him. And... yeah that's about it.
I sit on the couch, with wolf laying on my lap. "Wolf, do you believe in happy endings?" I look down at the white dog, but he doesn't answer me. He licks my face then jumps off and walks into the kitchen where Dylan and Brook are making lunch. I'm bored. As if on cue both Hunter and Eden walk in and shut the door behind them with a grim look on their face, who do I have to kill now? Sometimes it really sucks that we don't have a way to communicate. I sigh, "What happened?", the sit on the floor in front of me. I raise an eyebrow at their weird behaviour, "You do know that you can sit on the couch, right?" they nod.
"That's not the problem, for the next two days Autumn and his elite squad is going to be doing patrols of the streets and house visits for this area." Hunter huffs and glares at the carpet. My eyes widen, then I scowl. Fury fills me as I realise that-
"I guess that just means that for the next two days I'm going to be a wonderer. Oh yeah and don't forget about Brook. You're probably going to need to find a place to hide her. It's not going to be safe if she's with me. Wolf is going to come with me though. For the next two days-" I get cut off with Brook and Dylan walking into the living room with a startled look,
"Oh you guys are back." Dylan smiles, Brook narrows her eyes at me.
"What about me hiding?" Brook's gaze narrows, like a falcon zoning on its prey. But I don't bother to smirk. This isn't the time to be crafty with words. I ruffle my hair and bite my bottom lip in annoyance,
"Autumn is doing patrols and house visits for the next two days meaning I'm going to be wondering about killing the damned police officers with Wolf. You know how the man whore is, and I worry for your safety so you are going to have to find a secure hiding place because let's face it you are good looking and I wouldn't be surprised if one of 'em try to lay a hand on you and you try to fight back seeing as how independent you are. But if you fight back you're playing with your life and you are a valuable member of the pack. I'm not going to let any of you die by his grubby hands." My glare intensifies at the wall, "not only that but if he does visit the house I'm sure he will realise that Eden wasn't born in a place like this or from Cheney or anywhere in the poorer parts of Escye. The one I'm most worried about is Brook and I'm sure you are all too. I think if you give me an hour or two I can either make a good hiding space or find one. Brook just remember you have that gun, but if Autumn is the one visiting the house don't use it." Brook's eyes widen. I stand up and punch the wall creating a small crater, some plaster flakes off and falls onto the stained carpet, God dammit! Why so soon?!
"You don't need to. I'll just make myself look like a guy. It's no Biggy all I have to do is cut my hair and bind my chest." She grins which I return with a small smile,
"I can help you with your hair so that you don't have to cut majority of it off, but I'm not sure what we can do with your face to make you look more manly." I cross my arms over my flat chest and look at her sceptically,
"Technically we can make her look like a trap, so we would just have to deal with her chest and make it flatter than a white board. But that's going to be hard considering how huge her boobs already are." Dylan speaks up,
"Trap?" Eden asks,
"It's a boy who looks so convincingly like a female, that by the time you realize you have made a mistake, it's already too late. But I guess we can do it in a way a girl looks like a guy, like in those animes." Hunter explains, Eden thanks him. I fiddle with my red t-shirt and rip the bottom half so it's a long strip of fabric that's about 10cmX43cm-I wear loose baggy clothing. Everyone just looks at me as I hand the fabric to Brook,
