The pack excluding their leader walk into Devil's Spine clad in black clothing, each gripping onto a single red rose as if their life depends on the wellbeing of the rose. The three boys, girl and dog walk through the quiet streets and into a make-shift garden where a tall man stands before two graves with an unlit cigarette held in place by his fine lips. The man places a bouquet of red flowers on the graves and walks out passing by the solemn pack,
"WAIT!" Eden reaches out to the unfamiliar man, the man turns back questioningly with an eyebrow raised, "What does it mean?" Eden asked softly, his grip on the rose tightened, the boy looks down at his cast and itches his bandaged forehead sheepishly,
"What does what mean?" he replies gruffly,
"Akahiko. What does it mean?" the Man's obsidian eyes widen when the name of his only nephew rolls of the tongue of the boy, the uncle of Wolf- or rather Akihiko smiles sadly,
"Akihiko is Japanese for Red Prince which he certainly was. The Aka meaning red which he got from his mother, and the hiko meaning prince because he was the son of a man who was practically royal." The man scratches his neck sheepishly, "I take it that you're the sheep he fell in love with then." Eden blushes,
"B-but-" Eden starts but is cut off the middle aged man,
"Take care of him. You're his pack, pack is family. If you need anything, you can come to me for whatever." The man says and walks off into the distance. The four remaining humans and dog look up to the sky and watch as the sun sinks down in the calming sky. A smile grazes their lips as a large cloud passes by the sun, Wolf howls. Hunter ruffles the fur of the Utonagan.
One by one each member of the pack places a bright red rose on the grave of the leader, each of them saying a small parting message and a word of honour. They all shoot one last sorrowful smile at the stone with the name 'WOLF' engraved on the igneous rock,
"Even though his body may not be six feet under the dirt. Our leader Wolf will forever live in our hearts even if he isn't here materialistically." Hunter speaks clearly voicing the thoughts of the pack,
"Let's go home now." Dylan mumbles wiping the tears from his eyes, the four nod and walk out the cemetery in a painful but beautiful silence.
The light of the setting sun shone on the metal that hung loosely on the pendent Wolf would wear as if a symbol of hope. No one understood him but even so, people had hope that one day they could finally come to understand the mysteries of the teen.
'Wolf. A mass murderer, a psychopath and a damaged child managed to finally make a family after he had murdered his mother in cold blood. But there's a misunderstanding that none knew. Wolf wanted to spare his mother pain. He didn't want her to bare the pain of being murdered. He didn't want her to bare the pain of her being sick and suffering from her illness. He knew of the consequences, but nonetheless he killed her to save her. It was the only way. Wolf was never a horrible person, he was simply misunderstood. Don't be too quick to judge a person and their actions, I'm sure they have their reasons'
