Chapter 20

Sarah's POV
I watch the video again and again not believing my ears and eyes.
Did Harvey Mills just stand up for me?
No way.
What the heck is happening??
I slowly stand up and walk to Harvey's room which is right next to mine. I knock on the door and he opens it some seconds after.
"Oh um hi," He says closing the door behind me.
I sit on his bed and he sits next to me.
"Um hey can I ask you a question?" I say taking my phone out.
"Sure," He leans closer to me to look at ny phone.
I quickly open the video and shift closer to him so he can see. He becomes slightly stiff.
"What's this?" I look up at him.
"Uhmm..." He looks at me.
"Why?" I frown.
"I don't know. I just don't hate you anymore." He sighs.
"Why? You've always hated me."
"I don't know okay! I don't hate you anymore! I don't dislike you! Maybe I like you, I don't even know myself! God I think I like you!" He suddenly rants.
I gasp and stand up.
"Um I gotta go," I say closing the door and running to ny room. I sit on my bed and put my head in my heads.

What.
The.
Bloody.
Heck.

Harvey Mills liking me?

I guess I'm just going to avoid him, I don't really know what to do...
"Dinners ready!" I hear Sara calling.
I immediately jump out of bed and run downstairs.
I bump into someone and almost fall but he catches me.
"Ow," I mutter.
"Are you okay??"
Dang it's Harvey.
"Uh yeah," I say walking downstairs with him behind me.
There are only two chairs empty, right next to each other.
Great.
I sit in one as Harvey sits next to me and we both reach for the same ice cream and out hands touch.
We both blush and look away.
"Ice creams only after you've finished dinner," I can see Sara smirking.
I blush even more and look away from Harvey.
I eat my dinner in silence.
I finish before everyone else and grab a huge scoop of ice cream.
"Woah, chill." Harvey laughs, seeing the amount I took.
"Food before dudes, sorry," I stuff the ice cream on my mouth.
I hear him chuckle and I just roll my eyes.
I finish and go sit on the couch. I put Finding Nemo on because I absolutely love that movie.
"Seriously? That's so boring." Harvey shakes his head while sitting next to me.
"Finding Nemo is a movie in which a man's wife is brutally murdered by a serial killer and his son is left physically disabled.  Then suddenly his son is kidnapped and he has to chase the kidnapper thousands of miles with the help of a mentally ill woman. Now don't say it's boring." I say casually.
Harvey raises his eyebrows and shakes his head.
"Wow."
I flip my hair.
He just stares at me as I start laughing at his expression.
He starts laughing as well and both of us start goofing around and watch the movie.
I end up sleeping in Harvey's chest for some reason and when I wake up I don't move.
Because I wanted to stay like that.

Wait.
What...?

Annie's P.O.V
I woke up to see it was 7:00 in the evening! All I remembered was sitting in the nurse room with max and then all of a sudden falling asleep on his shoulder. I looked around and saw that I was on the couch. Sara must have brought me home . I shifted around a bit to hear a groan from behind me. I turned around to see Max?
He was fast asleep.
I poked his shoulder to wake him up.
"Max...max wake up." I whispered.
He opened his eyes and looked at me blankly. Then he turned red. I knew he was thinking what I was thinking. We were sleeping with our arms wrapped around each other. I'm pretty sure I was beet root red too!
"Uh... what time is it?" He said , sitting up and yawning.
I chuckled," its seven."

"I better call up my mum and talk to her." I said picking up my phone from next to me. He nodded.
I opened my phone to see 5 texts from Tom and 1 from my mum.
I opened Tom's first-

Tom😍- heyy
Tom😍- I need to talk to you
Tom😍- it's kind of important
Tom- meet me near your locker xx

I smiled and max peeped over my shoulder curiously. He rolled his eyes when he saw them and I pretended not to notice.After replying to Tom I opened the message from my mom-

Mum- Hi Annie! I'm so sorry I forgot to tell you that I have a business meeting in London so I'm leaving at 8:00. You weren't at home so I'm guessing you're at Sarah's. Please stay over. I'll be back in a few days. I love you

"You can stay over here." Max commented, looking at the message.
"Thank you." I said turning to him and smiling.
"No problem."
"Let's go find Sarah and Harvey." I said.
"Um...you go.. I don't really feel like meeting Harvey right now." Max said looking uncomfortable.
"Ok don't worry about it." I said giving him a comforting smile.

I got up and when to the drawing room looking for Sarah. There she was curled up next to Harvey, with the movie Finding Nemo on. They looked so cute together I couldn't help taking my phone out and clicking a picture .
"They're adorable aren't they." I heard a voice behind me .
It was Sara.
I turned to her and smiled," Yeah they really are."
"Max was telling me your mum had to go for a business meeting, you are more than welcome to stay here." She said to me kindly.
" Thank you so much." I said gratefully.
"Now come on you and max must be starving. Those two have already had there dinner, but you , Max, Tilly and Leo haven't so come along." Sara said, taking me with her to the dining table.
Max, Tilly and Leo were already there.
I was going to go sit next to max when Tilly piped up,"Annie! Come sit with me."
I smiled at her and went and sat next to her. Sara had made pasta for dinner and it was delicious! She was so sweet and we mainly just sat around and laughed during dinner.
After dinner was over max said goodnight to me and went up to his room.
"Annie you also go up to the room. Ill wake up Sarah and send her up." Sara told me.

I nodded and followed Max upstairs.
