Lynn's POV

Lara gave me directions to her parents' house. I parked on the driveway. They had a really nice house. I was super nervous though. Lara squeezed my hand in reassurance. I nodded and got out of the car, walking over to the door. Lara grabbed my hand and knocked on the door.

Her mom opened the door with a big smile on her face. "Hey sweetie! How are you?" She hugged Lara and then turned to me. I was shocked when she gave me a hug too.

"It's so nice to meet you Lyndsey." she said when she pulled away.

"It's nice to meet you too Mrs Arial." I answered, still freaking out inside.

"Call me Susan, honey." Susan said, stepping aside to let us in. Lara's dad walked. He gave Lara a hug and shook my hand. He smiled warmly. I immediately felt better. Lara's parents were really nice.

"It's nice to finally meet you Lyndsey. I'm  Ethan."

I smiled at him. He turned his attention to the stairs to the right of me.

"Sam! Come downstairs! Your sister and her girlfriend are here!" Ethan yelled.

I heard soft footsteps run down the stairs. A smal girl with blue hair came down the stairs and ran to Lara, jumping in her arms and hugging het tightly.

"Hey Smurf! I missed you. You're just as small as I remember."

Sam pushed Lara's arm and giggled. "It's good to see you too sis and stop calling me a smurf. You're one too." Sam said, pointing at the blue streaks in Lara's hair that I love so much. I giggled.

"And you must be Lynn." Sam turned to me and I wanted to shake her hand but she practically jumped on me and hugged me.

"You're part of the family too now so I'm gonna threat you as family. This is how I welcome family Lynn." Sam said, letting go and landing back on the ground.

"I can't believe you are just a year younger than me. You act like a 6 year old." Lara said, laughing. Sam pouted.

"Diner is ready!" I heard Susan yell from the kitchen.

I looked at Lara. She smiled at me and grabbed my hand, dragging me to the kitchen. Sam followed closely behind us.

"You two are so cute." Sam whispered behind us. Laar didn't hear it but I did. I chuckled and Lara looked at me in confusion.

Lara and I sat across her parents and Sam sat to my left.

"So Lyndsey, Lara has told me a lot about you but I still don't know everything. What are you going to do now that you're not a robber anymore?" Ethan asked, sounding a little intimidating.

"Dad, be nice. She's a good person." Lara defended me.

"I know honey. I just wanna make sure that you're in good hands." her dad answered.

"I swear I will never hurt her, sir. I know I've made some mistakes in the past, but haven't we all? I've changed for the better and I promise that Lara is safe." I said, squeezing Lara's hand under the table. She smiled and blushed.

"I trust you Lyndsey. Don't worry. I know you're good for Lara. We love you like a family. Just remember that." Ethan said, giving his heart warming smile again.

"Thank you, sir."

"Please, just call me Ethan." he smiled again. I nodded.

Diner was finished and Lara took me upstairs to her room. I closed the door behind me and looked around. There were a few posters on the grey walls, a bed in the middle of the room against the wall, a closet and a dresser next to the bed, a desk with a chair in front of the window and a comfortable looking couch next to the door. There also was a bathroom linked to the bedroom.

"It's been so long since I've been here." Lara said, breaking the silence. I wrap my arms around her waist and kiss het temple.

"I'm still very sorry about all of this." I said, a frown appearing on my face.

"Don't be. If this didn't happen I wouldn't have met you." she said, making me smile again. She turned in my arms and kissed me passionately.

"I really love you Lynds."

"I really love you to L."
