삼 | cold ramen and cuddles

[a/n: sorry for being a shitty author but ive finally finished exams so it will be more frequent after thx for being patient. okk enjoy this fluffy chap]

hyunjin focus(kind of)

Wearily, the two boys creeped up the stairs of hyunjins apartment complex with the dim stream of light flooding the staircase, each circular bulb flickering every so often. Well actually it was more like hyunjin struggling up the stairs with seungmin on his back.

The chestnut haired snuggled into the junction of the others neck and smiled softly as he relaxed around hyunjins waist, releasing mini sniffles and breaths as they continued towards the front door.

Although he was cute and small he was still heavy so hyunjin was relieved to unlock his door to gently set the half asleep boy on the cozy sofa.
"are you hungry, ive got some ramen around if you want?" the raven asked through a low yawn.
"i'm always hungry" the younger joked and smiled lazily, his eyes half-lidded and drowsy. Hyunjin chuckled, pouring hot water into a vivid red kettle and leaving it to boil.

Soon they were swaddled in fuzzy blankets and surrounded by furry pillows on hyunjins couch. A bright white light coming from the flatscreen tv glimmered and illuminated the room as colourful pictures flashed across the screen, the two watched intently and in silence. Throughout the movie seungmin was sniffling and shuffling around quite a lot but hyunjin just suspected it as a cold considering they had been out in the chilly weather for most of the night but he couldn't help taking a glimpse over at the boy.

His heart instantly plummeted as he found the ramen, that was formerly cupped in the brunettes hands, now sitting in his lap. As for the boys hands, they had found their way to his eyes and were shakily squashing tears away. A wave of panic instantly overtook hyunjin as he didn't know what to do. with little time to think he switched the tv off and placed his now cold ramen away. hesitantly placing his hands on seungmin's and removed them to reveal a pink flushed and tear stained face. the youngers' eyes were bloodshot red and looked irritated because of the tears that were still streaming rapidly down his cheek.

"whats wrong" the raven asked, his heart hurting for the other and worry audible in his words.

"i-i'm scared" the boy stuttered through a thick sob

"why, your safe here with me" although that was pretty ironic as they had only met five or so hours ago. hyunjin wiped away a tear with the pad of his thumb and gently traced it down the side of his blotchy skin.

"i know b-but i don't want him to f-find me. i can't suffer anymore!" this time seungmin was wailing through his cries and hyunjin couldn't help but pull the smaller into an embrace in attempt to ease the anxious boy.

"lets go to bed its warmer there" his voice was smooth like crushed velvet, it held the power to make gold melt. Seungmin just nodded, averting his gaze as he was embarrassed . without asking hyunjin jumped up from his seat and scooped the other up in his arms, cradling him with warmth and tenderness. Within 15 seconds the boy had transported to dream land and was muffling little whispers into the latters shoulder quietly with his face buried into his hyungs neck. At this the taller smiled to himself continuing to pad across the polished wood floor into the dark bedroom. [a/n: before i cont lets just say they both changed into pjs and stuff before the movie. k cool pls continue] he flicked on the light making the half-asleep boy groan slightly. of course hyunjin found this adorable.

Soon enough they were snuggled under the snowy white comforter, a small gap separating them as they gazed lustfully into each others eyes, regardless of the darkness engulfing them.

"feeling better?" the ravenette whispered, seungmin nodded smiling softly with heavy eyelids visible. The aforementioned shifted around to face the other way, shuffling back into hyunjin in the process but the other didn't necessarily mind this. if it made the other comfortable and calmed his nerves than thats all he wanted. Out of instinct hyunjin wrapped an arm around the sleepy boy's waist, pulling him close enough to rest his head into the crook of his neck. Seungmin soon relaxed in the hold and allowed their ankles to slowly intertwine.

The older held the smaller in his embrace all night, warm sweet breath fanning over his neck and ear. they slept comfortably together shifting to face and then vice versa throughout the night. If seungmin ever became restless, hyunjin would be sure to hold him tighter or whisper little muffles of comfort in his ear.

however hyunjin never forgot about what seungmin had said.

what or who is he so terrified of, why is he suffering?

Frantic thoughts flooded his mind but he pushed them away until the morning as he just wanted to let the boy and himself enjoy the cuddles and sleep for now.

Should i ask him tomorrow or is it too soon?

[a/n: just to clarify hyunjin is older and taller in this book i should have included the height info in the character profiles but oh whalE. also i'm switching woojin (hyunjins bestf) to minho so i can include some minsung stuff for yall but he will still be in as a side charater and friend aswell as the rest of stray kids :) okay hope yee enjoyed the fluff byeeee]
