The next day I went to my locker and got my books, I realised that Eli wasn’t at school yet. So I waited at his locker. I nearly fell asleep at his locker but I was woken up by a kiss on my cheek.
Eli said to me “You fell asleep while waiting for me, how cute.”
“You take long enough” I replied.
I moved aside and watched Eli take his books out. Eli and I then walked to the cafeteria and we sat down at a table and talked. I started to show him an assignment that I needed help with and I knew Eli did it last year. The cafeteria room became filled with so many people sitting everywhere. I was thinking why there are so many people.
I was about to ask Eli another question when music started playing from the school speakers. Everyone was looking around confused at each other. Then a senior year girl and boy come running in and start dancing along to music. I looked around the room and saw everyone whispering to each other. Suddenly Eli stood up and four other people. He then headed to the front spacy area and joined in dancing with them. Soon a whole bunch of other seniors started dancing along. I realised that it was a senior year flash mob. I started laughing because I have never seen Eli dance so happily and so funny. Everyone was smiling and laughing. Soon other grade students stood up and started dancing. I walked down the front and stood next to Eli and joined in. I quickly learned the dance moves and soon everyone was dancing in the cafeteria. The principle came running in because he was locked out of his room so the music could play. Instead of yelling at us he got some of the media team to film everyone. Soon everyone was in the school and shown on the TV.
When the music ended everyone cheered and I gave Eli a happy hug. I noticed Imogen coming over to me. She gave me a friendly greeting hug and took me away from Eli outside. I looked back and I saw Eli looking around for me inside.
Imogen started talking to me and she asked “Becky I need help filming something for an assignment so I need you to be my main person.”
“What’s it’s about?” I questioned.
“It’s about finding love…. You’ll get it along the way.” She replied and handed me a script.
We walked off and as we turned around the corner Eli went outside to where were just before and searching. It felt like Eli was trying to find…. I’m his love.
I was able to film for most of the day missing out on classes because this was for a major subject. I wanted to talk to Eli so much during the morning. At break time I sat with Adam for 5 minutes and I pulled inside to do some more filming with Imogen. As we went inside I heard Eli close behind us asking Adam where I was. Eli came inside and he noticed me. Just as I was about to scream hello Imogen pulled me up some stairs which was crowded with people.
I filmed some more and saw what Emma was doing on the computer by adding effects. Emma is really smart but she looks like a supermodel. She is awesome at everything especially technology. She sometimes inspires me in my writing. I’m glad Imogen met with her because smarts and quirky mix together in some ways.
At lunch Eli was tailing us. He was so close to talking to me the whole day. I started to feel panic because I wasn’t being kissed by Eli.
At the end of the day the locker corridor was empty because it was 4.00, Imogen made me stay back later. I thought I was alone but I saw a shadow at the end of the hallway. I looked up and it was Eli.
I ran up to Eli and jumped onto him. HE caught me and spun me around and lowered me to the ground and started to stroke my hair again.
I said to him “I missed you all day, all I wanted was a kiss from you.”
He smiled and asked me “Did you really like my dancing today.?”
I giggled and said “Some improvements but overall good.”
He laughed again and gently held my face and pulled me in for a kiss. The kiss was long, romantic and sweet. We didn’t realise that Imogen was around. When we finished kissing Imogen was filming us.
I turned and yelled “You filmed us!”
Imogen replied “You were the perfect couple for my film… It was cute filming your boyfriend chasing you… how romantic.”
I laughed and answered “Well no more filming…”
Emma came from the editing room and commented “Now this scene is going to be interesting to edit.”
