THE BIRTHDAY PARTY

Everything of mine felt like it was falling apart,even now I can't believe that the week has ended..Next week is our graduation day and school will be finally over..I haven't spoken to my mother since Wednesday, I don't even know what to say to her..

"Are you ok Ree?"A voice asks me and when I look around I see Dana and Roxanne.I even forgot I was at the company of people.

"I'm fine,just nervous of the party."I lie.

"Why are you nervous? It's not even your party."Dana exposes me of my lie.

"Yeah, what's wrong with you?"Rox agrees with her and she questions my mood.

"I said I was fine , stop nagging me geez."I walk away from them then I remember we are at Dana's house because it is close to Tristan...So I decide to go to the party..

The party just started and I want to leave already,My heart is not here..Rox and Dana haven't talked to me after the conflict we had later on,now I'm all alone..

"Hey Queen. "Guess I spoke too soon..I hear Tristan's voice from behind me.

"Hey Tris,Happy birthday."I fake a smile while I give him a hug.

"Are you enjoying yourself? "

"Yes of course,best party ever."

"That's great babe,I'll now go and prepare for my speech..see you around."He leaves me there all by myself again.I have to leave this place right now.

"Reina?"Again, I spoke too soon.

When I turn around my eyes meet those of Zayn.My heart starts beating fast,what the hell.
"Zayn,hey."

"Are you going somewhere?"He asks.

"I'm leaving. "

"Already? The party just started. "

"I don't wanna be here right now. "

"Makes the two of us,can I take you home?"what? Why would he wanna do that?

"Why the hell not."I increase my pace to walk out of the loud house and Zayn follows..

We finally get to his jeep and he volunteers to open the door for me and I let him...I didn't even say goodbye to Tris,I'll make it up for him..Zayn finally gets into the car and he starts the engine and off we go..

"So what's up,why did you want to leave so early?I thought Tristan was your friend."Zayn interrupts my thoughts.

"He was,I mean he is..I'm just not in my right mind."I answer him honestly.

"I saw you were also alone at the party although Roxanne and Dana were there."He says while he looks at me and he sees I'm not enjoying his interrogation.

"I'm sorry, I'm just wondering because your not your usual self. "He says honestly.

I see that he's taking the road to my house and right now I just don't see myself with my mother."I don't wanna go to my house, can you take me somewhere else? "I suggest to him.

"Oh okay."

After what seems like eternity we finally arrive at his house..Everytime I come to this house I'm mesmerised by how big and beautiful it looks,I sometimes ask myself how Rox and I became friends...She's obviously rich and lives in the suburbs and I'm poor.."not anymore. " I hear the inner me say.

When we get to the house we take off our shoes because Rose doesn't like her tiles to be dirty.

"Mom I'm home."Zayn shouts to his mom.

"I'm in the kitchen honey."Rose responds to her son.

When we get to the kitchen a very attractive lady with blond hair and in her pyjamas is making tea.This woman is the most attractive lady I've ever seen, but she's so different from Zayn..She has blond hair and blue eyes,Zayn has brown hair and brown eyes, not that I was noticing..

"Hello Rose."I smile to her.

"Oh hey Reina."She brings back a smile that could light up a dark room."Aren't you guys suppose to be at Mason's party?"She later asks.

"Reina wasn't feeling well, so Roxanne said to bring her here and she'll follow."Zayn lies to his mother.

"Sleep over? "Rose questions and I nod my head.

"Why are you up so late mom?"He questions his mother.

"Nick wanted tea,so like a good wife would I came to make it...I'm off to bed now, goodnight. "She goes off upstairs to where her husband is.

"Tea?"Zayn offers me.

"Sounds great. "
