THE WEDDING OF THE YEAR

I can do this,I know I can.No,I can't do this, I just can't. Why did my father have to come up with this kind of condition?Doesn't he want his daughter to be happy?Why would he do this to me? He didn't even raise me. Just as I'm looking at myself for the last time as a single woman, my mother walks through the door.

It's always a pleasure seeing her on her feet, not lying on a bed helpless. Even though she uses sticks to walk,I'm pleased the treatment went well. She looks healthy.

"Oh honey, you look beautiful as ever."She says with eyes full of tears.

"Come on mom,don't cry or else I'll even cry."I say to her as I'm spreading my arms to hug her.To feel her love.

"I'm sorry you had to do this honey,you should have told me Reina, you wouldn't be forced to get married now."She says.

"I wouldn't have it any other way mom,I wanted you to be better, I can't live without you mom.So thank you ."

"For what honey."

"For being here and for not leaving me."Tears fall from my eyes.

"For you,anything."She hugs me then continues. "Are you happy? "

"With you happy, I'm also happy. "

"And Zayn? "Just the mention of his name brings me to my knees.

The priest finished saying and I hoped that someone would object, someone who is Zayn.But no one opposed.I looked at Roxanne, Dana and Emma beside me,they looked happy and disappointed at the same time. I then looked at my mother on the front seats who was crying her heart out,in joy I assume.
I then looked at the door wishing,hoping that he would come.But nothing.

"Do you Liam Spencer take this woman to be lawfully wife,do you promise to love her,cherish her,take care of her,in sickness and in health for as long as you both shall live?"The priest continued saying.

"I do. "Liam simply said.

"Do you Reina Swan take this man to be your lawfully husband, do you promise to love him,cherish him,take care of him,in sickness and in health for as long as you both shall live?"The priest asked me.

It's like my toung just collapsed on me . I didn't know what to say , how to say it or if I should say it . I was about to lose my whole life and all I could think of was my mother and her health. I hate my father so much, he made my life into an ultimatum. He made my love for Zayn to be Forbidden.

"I do."I finally said.

"I'm pleased to say, I now pronounce you Mr and Mrs Spencer. "
