"Maybe those rats were food," the Doctor pondered as he used his sonic screwdriver to open the door.
"Food for what?" Rose asked.
The Doctor opened the door, for all of us to find the answer. 6-foot bat people hanging from the ceiling. Luckily, they were asleep. "Rose, you know how you used to think all the teachers slept in the school? Well, they do."
Mickey looked like he was about to be sick. "No way!" he wailed, running out of the room, the rest of us following, but a bit quieter. I heard one of the giant bats wake up, but luckily the Doctor shut the door behind us, and I couldn't tell what the bat did next.

"I am not going back in there. No way!" Mickey cried from the parking lot as we made our way outside.
"Those were teachers," Rose realized.
"When Finch arrived, he brought with him seven new teachers, four dinner ladies, and a nurse. 13. 13 big bat people. Come on."
"Come on?" Mickey questioned the Doctor. "You've got to be kidding!"
"I need the TARDIS. I've got to analyze that oil from the kitchen."
"I might be able to help you there. I've got something to show you," Sarah Jane spoke, walking towards one of the cars (I'm assuming hers) and opening the trunk.
"K9!" the Doctor exclaimed once he saw what was inside. "Rose Tyler, Aria Johnson, Mickey Smith, allow me to introduce K9. Well, K9 Mark Three to be precise."
It was a robot dog with a clever name that I loved. He appeared to be getting rusty around the edges though, but I still found him adorable. "Awww," I cooed.
"Why does he look so disco," Rose asked, clearly not impressed.
"Oi! Listen, in the year 5000, this was cutting edge. What's happened to him?"
"Oh, one day, he just, nothing," Sarah Jane spoke solemnly.
"Well, didn't you try and get him repaired?"
"Well, it's not like getting parts for a Mini Metro, Beside, the technology inside him could rewrite human science. I couldn't show him to anyone."
"Ooh, what's the nasty lady done to you, eh?"
"Look, no offence, but could you two just stop petting for a minute? Never mind the tin dog. We're busy," Rose said, getting in the car. I followed her, but froze when I heard something above me, something eerily close to flapping, but when I looked up, there was nothing there. It was gone, for now.

"You see, what's impressive is that it's been nearly an hour since we met her and I still haven't said I told you so," Mickey said cockily as he leaned against the counter of the coffee shop we were in. The Doctor and Sarah Jane were at a table by themselves, trying to fix K9, while the rest of us bought some fries.
"I'm not listening to this."
"Although, I have prepared a little I was right dance that I can show you later."
"Two quid love," the lady behind the counter interrupted, Rose handing her the money before finding a table for us.
"All this time you've been giving it, he's different, when the truth is, he's just like any other bloke."
"Yeah, because every other bloke travels through time and space and has lived for 900+ years. Any other bloke, really."
"You don't know what you're talking about," Rose defended, speaking to Mickey.
