Flashback:
"Y/N...Baby don't cry."
Her long, slender hands reached for my face, Gently wiping away the tear that rested on my cheek as she bent down on one knee and lifted my chin up to face her. Small sniffles and soft wimpers escaped from my lips as I grabbed her hand and pressed it tightly onto my face. Both my arms desperatly snaked around her, followed by my body that crashed onto her. I stuffed my face in her chest and let out a pleading cry.
"Eomma, Don't leave please." My voice trembled, and my insides felt sick. "Appa, please don't go."
I wasn't ready to be alone now.
Their warm bodies wrapped me in an embrace. . Several eyes from the other passangers rested on us for minutes. But they weren't annoyed. Just surprised that parents would leave a child this young to the hands of others.
"You won't be alone Jagi, you will have your grandmother to look after you while we're away and Mr. Chen to take you wherever you want to go, and before we go, we have something for you." She said, smiling through her damp eyes once she pulled away. She was tired. Working constantly, trying to keep her troubles from me. But I knew what was on her mind.
She turned around for a moment and walked backwards. Until her tall figure reached a halt at the entrance. A large box appeared into her hands. With caution in her steps, she came to me. Placing the bright pink box covered in ribbons in front of me.
"Open it."
My eyes searched around the box. Finding an easy way to open through what seemed like layers of wrapping paper. My hands gingerly reached out to the box. Before I could place my hands on it....Thud. I jumped a step back, A rush of energy had bolted through me once I came to the conclusion of what it was. I looked up at her and then back at the box. Taking a few bold steps foward. I held the top securly in my hands as I slowly slid it off.
Before the heavy cover could come off completely, A furry head bounced up. Soft white and black fur and icy blue eyes greeted me. I reached out and stroked it's fur, A warm smile finding its way onto my lips. It almost immediatly it stepped backwards then lunged up into my arms. I fell backwards as my face was being kissed by it small tongue.
"A puppy! " I laughed smiling widley as it covered my face in kisses. The worries in my head seemed to disapear in that moment. I was happy.
"Her name is Bonnie, Take good care of her while we're away, and she will take care of you." She said as she stood up. Straightening her clothing and tucking a lock of her long hair behind her ears. Getting ready to go.
"I will Eomma, Thank you." I said softly while hugging her and dad tightly.
"We have to go now, I'll be back soon, Write a list of what you want when we come home." She said as she broke away from me hug and looked down me. I felt my heart ache as I pulled away from her comforting arms, that held me all my life....
"Bye..." My eyes filled with tears as their figures disappeared into the midst of the crowd and into the airport check in. I wanted to wait, hoping to see them return to me with smiles and open arms. But no.
"Are you ready to go home with your puppy Miss Y/N.?" Asked Chen kindly, noticing the fragile state my mind was in. His voice calming and understanding.
"Yes." I replied. He held my hand as we walked to the car, holding Bonnie in my arms, I looked back, Only to see the unfamiliar backs of everyone hovering around the gates and waving goodbye to their loved ones. Except mine.
