Jimin POV:
I walked into the house and released clyde from the leash.
*7:20 pm* I sighed and walked into the bathroom to get ready for the shift at 8. I was told that there was a party, So I needed to look good.
I walked into the shower and scrubbed my body down with soap and water, I dried myself and tied a towel around my waist as I walked into my room to pick out my clothing. After a few minutes, I came across a pair or black pants and a white button up shirt. I tucked it in and then headed back into the bathroom to do my hair. I simply ran my fingers through it with a bit of gel, for a slightly pulled a few hairs onto my forehead.
Just as I was about to leave, I noticed a thin silver chain sitting on the dresser. Suddenly, memories came flooding to me, Memories of Jihee.
I sat on my bed, and felt the pain and regret consume me, I rested my elbows on my knees and held my forehead in my hands and closed my eyes for a minute. To think about her.
I stood up and grabbed the chain and walked over to the mirror. I looked into the mirror and tied the necklace around my neck, I pulled the collar of my shirt up to cover most of it, but it was still seen through the unbuttoned buttons going down to my collarbone.
As soon as I finished up, I bent down to ruffle Clydes fur before shutting the door behind me.
I walked into the driveway and got inside the car and drove to the resturant. The moon was out, and the night sky twinkled with stars. The bright city lights and music drowned out my memories, All I was focusing on was the road ahead.
I parked my car in the lot and began to walk into the resturant. I got in through the back door and hung up my coat on the rack and stepped into the hallway to the bar. I got into the bar and began to check any orders for drinks I was to prepare, and brush up on how to make them. As I was checking it out, I noticed people starting to fill up the resturant for the party. Most the tables had been moved around to create space a sort of dance hall. The lights then dimmed and a bright disco ball floated down from the ceiling.
The ball began spinning as music played. It was some kind of R&B music. Due to this setting, I could tell that there would be young people around my age attending the party. As I moved on to wiping a few glasses and setting them aside for the drinks, more girls and boys came in, and they were my age. As I was placing the last glass on the table, I saw someone come and sit down in front of me.
"Hi Oppa." I heard the voice and recognized it instantly.
This is going to be a fucking long night.
I rolled my eyes while focusing on wiping the glass, I slowly looked up and smiled.
"Hello Minhye, Are you old enough to be sitting here?" I asked her, considering the fact that the last time she came in, she was 16 and tried getting drunk. Luckily I called jungkook to take her home before some random guy did.
"Of course. Today is my birthday party! Jungkook oppa is over there, he'll come to see you in a bit." She said
"Oh, Happy birthday. Is it Jungkook that requested for me to bartend tonight for your party?" I asked
"No, It was me." She said while smirking
"Well, Ok then. You should probably go find your friends, I will be cleaning up a bit before I start my work, It will take a while." I said as polietly as possible, trying to get her to leave. I leaned my hand against the counter and waited for her to leave.
"No no oppa, I want to stay here, and talk to you...Maybe we can get to know eachother a little more." She said. I felt her hands slide on top of mine and she began to rub my hands.
"It's really warm in here." She added as she slid off her coat and was left wearing a revealing red dress and was extremely low cut and the neck, and way too short. I scoffed at her attempt to seduce me.
"Minhye, Stop." I said as I pulled away.
"Is my sister causing any trouble? Hyung?" Jungkook swiftly came into the conversation to save me as he threw his around around Minhyes shoulders.
"Not yet, but it's common etiquette to greet the people attending your party isn't it?." I said to him while signaling Minhye.
"Yeah Minye, that means leave." He said, making it clear. She furrowed her brows and rolled her eyes before leaving.
"That was close." I let out a breath as he sat down her place.
"It's funny, I remember the first time she saw you, which was when you came over to my house in middle school to do a project with me. Oh my, She wouldn't stop trying to rape you." Jungkook laughed while holding his stomach.
"Yah shut up, She almost got away with grabbing my crotch when I went to the bathroom!" I said
"You need to be more careful with the way she acts around boys, I don't want her getting hurt." I said
"Yes I know that. I am extremley protective of her, I'm fine with her being around you and Tae, because I trust you." He said. Which was true. He knows that I would never try anything on her, She was like a sister to me, and it isn't hot to date you bestfriends little sister.
Just as we began to talk I heard the door open, I turned around and saw Taehyung standing there. Looking at me. And I recalled the last time we interacting resulted in a bruise the size of his hand around my neck.
"Yah are you going to come here or not?" Jungkook shouted from across the room.
I turned my attention away from him and began mixing a few drinks.
"I'm sorry." I heard him say. I turned around and saw taeyhyung next to me.
"It was wrong, and I wasn't thinking straight. I'm really sorry." He said as he pulled me into a hug. I couldn't stay mad at him forever. He was almost like a brother to me. I've shared laughs, tears and pain with him all my life, it isn't worth letting all that go because of one fight.
"It's okay. Are we good now?" I said as I pulled away and smiled at him.
"Yeah." he said as he returned one of his boxy cute smiles and sat down next to Jungkook.
"You guys ready for tonight?" Jungkook said grinning as he looked around the almost filled room.
"Hell yeah." Me and Tae said as we poured the drinks. It felt good to be back at what you were best at, especially with your brothers beside you along to way, to make every moment more memorable.
