Jimin POV:

"Don't go... stay for a little while longer."  She cried softly. Her delicate fingers wrapped around my hands tightly, refusing to loosen, as if her life depended on it. The skies were dark, The drumming of rain against the concrete grew louder as it poured down harder, and more difficult to bear. The rain had soaked through her thin shirt and drenched her hair, as it dripped down her small face.

Her eyes were red, swollen and filled with tears. I could feel her pain, Her body shivered as the rain poured down her body.

"I..... I love you." she whispered.

My world stopped. My eyes refused to look into hers, and I stared into emptiness. My voice weakened due to her words, but somehow I managed to speak.

"I can't..." I wrapped my hands gently around the fingers that were holding onto me, and pulled them away, releasing the tight grip from me. Her arms dropped to her side, she had given up hope.

I turned away from her, and stood there for a moment, Tears flooded the rim of my eyes, threatening to come out, the lump in my throat made it impossible to speak. Just as I crossed the road, I heard her voice calling me. I stopped in my tracks.

"Jimin!...wait.." Her slender arms were extended as she ran to me, her hair moved with the wind . Her small footsteps echoed through the empty streets and and carelessy splashed through the rain as she made her way to me. To embrace me one last time before it was over.

I turned around to see her coming to me. her soft eyes were focused on me. I looked up into her deep brown eyes. Her cheeks were flushed pink and wet with tears, her lips trembled, as if there was more to say, The same innocent, larges eyes, The same sweet, comforting voice I fell in love with. She always looked the same through my eyes...I couldn't fall for her again...I couldn't get hurt.
My lips curved into a small sad smile as I extended my arms out to her, waiting for her to fill  them for last time, so I could hold her for a few moments before it was over.

Before she made it into my arms, bright headlights covered her body.

Before I could react, her scream flooded my ears as she was swept off her feet. Her lifeless, small body fell to the ground with a thud as the rain mixed with the pool of blood surrounding her.

"JIHEE.." I screamed as I ran to her.

"No...no no...you can't go like this. Jihee don't you fucking close your eyes..Hey, speak to me...please..." I shouted at her as I cradled her limp body in my arms and supported her. I held her securely.

"I love you...I'm sorry I couldn't say it earlier.." I sobbed quietly as her little hand fell to the ground. She was gone. I bent my neck down and rested my lips on her skin. My tears dripped into the pool of blood I was covered in. The streets were empty, It was me, alone.
I called out into the emptiness, no one came.
________

I shot up out of bed, cold sweat dripping down my forehead.

*2:47 am *

I looked around the dark room. My eyes searching through the emptiness.
Sitting up on bed, I shut my eyes. A flood of anger, pain, and sadness flooded my heart. The guilt and regret eating away at me. Tears slipped out and dripped onto the blankets.

My body ached and felt weak as I stood up.

The tears stung my eyes, as I stumbled into the bathroom. My hands trembled as I slid the cabinet open.
