Hawkins was a strange place. More specifically, the events of 1983 and 1984. A lot had happened which affected the town, and everyone in it. Hawkins was now well known for its invasion and people were well aware of the people who had survived it and saved everyone. Everything was back to normal.
Will, Dustin, Mike, Lucas and Max made use of their free time by playing Dungeons and Dragons for hours on end, grateful that they were alive. El spent most of her time with Hopper, when he was at home, but when he wasn't, she would be round at Mike's, desperately trying to understand the hype around DND, and how to play it, for that matter.
Things had settled down, and for the first time in what felt like an eternity, the kids could be kids again, the teens could relax and the parents could stop constantly worrying about whether their child was in severe danger, because the short answer is, there wasn't any severe danger... that anyone knew about.
But, alas, the upside down wasn't finished with them yet, oh no.

This is a fanfic I'm writing because honestly I think ST is one of the best TV shows out at the moment. It's going to be written in first person with the chapters having a different person's perspective. There will be music that can be listened to as you read for more effect, but not in every chapter.
