Alana runs around her room rushing to get ready before Alycia arrives, she doesn't want to keep her waiting. She quickly pulls a black crop top over her head and slips on some VANS before she grabs her phone and purse then walks out the door. She makes sure all the doors all locked then hears a horn honk from outside. She leaves the house, locking the door on the way out, and gets into the passenger side.
Alycia leans over to give Alana a quick hug which she returns before she reverses out of the driveway and starts driving. Alana's leg starts bouncing up and down, a habit she does whenever she's nervous. Alana doesn't notice that she's doing it, but Alycia does and she reaches over to place her hand on the girl's knee, stopping the bouncing.
Alana flinches slightly at the sudden contact but quickly recovers and looks over at Alycia who just smiles in response. "Sorry, it's a nervous habit" The girl shyly admits, a small blush covering her face.
"Why are you so nervous?"
Alana lets out a sigh as she looks out the window. She looks over at Alycia who is concentrated on the road in front of her. "I haven't seen her since we broke up and I didn't think I was going to see her again, well, at least not this soon"
Alycia nods her head, understanding the words that left Alana's mouth. "Well, I'll be there, the whole time, so if you need me..." Alycia trails off and Alana nods her head, a small smile tugging at her lips.
"Thankyou"

Alana and Alycia arrive around 10 past one and Alana immediately spots Skylah sitting at a small table outside with a coffee in her right hand and her phone in her left. Alana finds herself become nervous as her heart rate picks up and her hands become sweaty. She turns to face her friend who just nods at her, pushing her forward slightly, "I'll be right here" Alycia reassures her.
Alana slowly nods then walks over to Skylah who notices her straight away. She smiles before standing up and pulling Alana into a hug which she doesn't return. The situation immediately turns awkward as the two girls sit down, neither of them making the first move to talk.
"Anyways, i brought your stuff" Skylah starts as she passes Alana a plastic bag filled with her belongings. "Can we talk?" Skylah asks quickly as she notices Alana start to stand up. Alana lets out a sigh and turns around to look at Alycia who is on her phone. She looks up and smiles at the girl who smiles back.
"Fine"
"Who's that girl over there?"
"That's what you want to talk about?" Alana snaps, clearly annoyed. She can't deny that over the past two weeks of knowing Alycia the two have grown close, and Alana also can't deny that Alycia is very attractive.
"Woah, calm down, I was just curious. You two seem close" Skylah answers with a small shrug, bringing her coffee to her lips as she eyes Alycia.
"Not as close as you and Isabelle" The words just slip out of Alana's mouth before she even registers what she is saying. Her eyes widen slightly as Skylah chokes on her coffee.
"I guess I deserved that." She replies, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand.
Alana lets out a sigh as she sinks further into her seat. She doesn't see the point in talking to Skylah. She cheated on her and that's it, end of story. Alana starts to stand again until Skylah reaches over and grabs her wrist to stop her from leaving.
Skylah lets out a sigh before she continues, "I'm sorry" The words leave her mouth and Alana is honestly surprised, she didn't expect her to say that. "I never meant for all this to happen. Bella and I went clubbing and we both got a little too drunk. She kissed me and I was too drunk to even register what was happening, but I didn't kiss her, she kissed me. I know that's still cheating and I'm still in the wrong, but I never wanted to hurt you, Lana"
Alana can feel tears forming in her eyes as she places her head in her hands. "Please...Don't" She whispers so softly Skylah only just heard. "You never meant to hurt me but you did. It hurt a lot and there's nothing you can do about it now"
"Please...Just give me another chance"
Those words shock Alana as she lifts her head to look at Skylah, but what shocks her more are the words that leave her own mouth next, "I-I can't...I'm sorry" Alana says, avoiding eye contact with her ex. She missed Skylah a lot and always thought if she would take her back if she asked.
As soon as the words left the older girls mouth, Skylah's eyes turn darker. She didn't seem upset anymore, suddenly becoming angry as she grips the edges of the table. "I knew it" She mumbles, shaking her head as she slowly stands.
"W-Knew what?" Alana stutters out
"That girl" She says, pointing behind Alana and at Alycia, "She's the reason you won't take me back! I knew there was something going on between the two of you" Skylah's voice rises with each word she says until she's practically screaming which gains the attention of everyone around them.
"I'm not-There's nothing going on between us" Alana tries to sound confident but the words come out in a whisper, showing how scared she is of Skylah's behaviour.
The tears that had formed in Alana's eyes are now flowing down her cheeks as she watches the first and only girl she's ever loved scream at her. Skylah is now standing and yelling at Alana who isn't listening. For Alana it feels like everything started to move in slow motion as she tries to calm herself down.
Alycia doesn't waste any time in rushing over to the pair and pulling Alana away from Skylah who starts shouting curse words at both of them. Alycia opens the door for Alana and helps her in before closing the car door and running to the other side. As soon as the door shuts and the noise from outside stops, Alana feels like she can breathe again and everything returns to normal. She puts her seatbelt on before leaning against the car window as tears still fall down her rosy cheeks. Alycia gets in the driver side and starts the car, pulling out of the parking lot without saying anything.
Alana closes her eyes after she realises no one's going to say anything. Alycia keeps looking over at the girl on her right, hoping that she's okay. All Alycia has done since she met Alana is worry over her. Instead of going to Alana's house Alycia drives to her house. Alana doesn't seem to notice until Alycia is pulling into her driveway.
Alana doesn't say anything as she gets out and follows Alycia inside. Alycia goes into the kitchen while Alana heads straight for the couch. Tears slowly fall down her oval shaped face as she thinks about everything that's happened over the past year. Her family disowning her, her brother passing away, her sister kicking her out and the first girl she's ever loved cheated on her. She really misses her brother.
Ryan was only 10 years old when he passed away. He was in a horrible car accident and spent around 1 week in hospital before her parents turned off his life support. It hit Alana very hard, harder than it probably should have.
Alana's thoughts are interrupted by Alycia walking in and sitting next Alana on the couch. She slowly runs her finger through Alana's long brown hair and wipes the tears from her cheeks.
"Can we cuddle?" Alana mumbles as she reaches out to grab Alycia.
Alycia's eyes widen in shock, not expecting those words to leave her mouth, but she doesn't deny. "Of course" She replies in a soft voice.
Alycia lies down next to Alana and wraps her arms around her waist as Alana grips onto her shirt, not wanting to let go. Alycia can feel her heart rate pick up and her stomach fill with butterflies. She closes her eyes and lets out a long breath. She never thought she would be feeling like this about someone, especially about a girl.
Alycia looks down at Alana who is peacefully sleeping and she can't help but smile. She slowly runs her hand through her hair, loving the feeling for her soft silky hair on her fingertips. Alycia also loves the way that Alana's mouth slightly falls open and light snores escape her mouth and the way her eyes are slightly creased and eyebrow's furrowed.
She looks adorable and in this very moment is when Alycia realises that she's falling for Alana Thomas and she would love to fall asleep and wake up to this every single day.
