Singer and actress, Alana Thomas, posted a video onto her YouTube account about her late brother, Ryan Thomas-Lawton.
The two siblings were very close, despite only being half-related and the age difference, and earlier this year Ryan suddenly passed away. No one in the family announced why he passed and months later still no one knows until Thomas posted this video on her YouTube explaining how he died and showing cute videos of the two together.

In the video the 24 year old talks about how much it hurt to lose her younger brother and her best friend. "It hurts so bad...I never thought something like this would ever happen. It makes you appreciate the smaller things in life and grip onto the people in your life, scared that they will leave too"
In the video she reveals that despite all the many rumours about how Ryan passed that he actually passed away due to a horrible car accident he was in. She said that Ryan was walking home from school when a drunk driver swerved around the corner and crashed straight into him. Ryan suffered many injuries including a broken arm, broken leg, fractured rips and a broken jaw, but the worst injury was the damage to his brain the crash had caused.
Ryan was left in on life support in hospital fighting for his life for days. The doctors told them that there would be a slim chance for him to survive and even if he does the damage to his brain was that bad he wouldn't be able to walk or talk and he most likely won't remember them. After one and a half painful weeks Thomas's mom, Sabella Thomas-Lawton, and step-dad, Cameron Lawton, made the tough decision to turn off his life support. Thomas later revealed that he died in her arms.
