Detain My Lovely Werewolf Mate

General Knowledge:

The Takeover-  was the war between humans and the supernaturals, months after The Unnaturals revealed themselves to mankind in the year 1975, not known at the time but in order to find their mates, the war itself didn't last quite long because The Unnaturals had too many advantages and powers against the humans. After the war humans expected The Unnaturals to take over the world and enslave all of mankind, which they did but humans weren't enslaved due to the fact that The Unnaturals could potentially have human mates and having their mates being mistreated was not a option. When the war was finally over The Unnaturals set up rules and regulations by which the humans were to oblige and created a new era.

The Unnaturals- are all the supernatural species that currently exist within this universe and revealed themselves to mankind such as Werewolves, Vampires, fae, Hybrids and many others that will introduce themselves into the story.

Also, when an Unnatural comes of age, also called their Prime they fully mature and gain access to their inner beast and have a natural sense or compass to find their mates and may stop aging.

For example, a Werewolf reaches their prime at age 21 and stops aging completely and can live for centuries with their Mate once they've Marked them as The Mate Mark holds The Werewolf's DNA and will keep them alive as long as their Mate lives.

The Contract (also known as The Dreadful Seven)-are a set of guidelines created by The Unnaturals to which humans will abide regarding their Mating.

Rule #1-Humans are not to be harmed as they may potentially be a Mate.

Rule#2- If a Human has been discovered as a Mate to any rank or class then said Human must go to live with their Mate to avoid Havoc or a Transitioning.

Rule#3- If a Married Human has been discovered as a Mate to any rank or class then said Human will be allowed to stay with their spouse until their Mate has chosen to take action whether that be Murder or a trial.

Rule#4- All Humans are allowed to be scented in order to see if they could potentially be a Mate to one self or a kin of the pack.

Rule#5- All known Mated Humans are to be listed.

Rule#6- Humans are not permitted to leave pack territory without the assistance of their Mate.

Rule#7- All known Mated Humans are to receive an alternate education upon discovery.

The Transitioning- is when a Unnatural usually a Vampire or Werewolf feels as if they are being denied their Mate after discovery, their inner beast begins to surface in order to claim what is theirs in this dangerous state The Unnatural will hurt anyone to obtain their mate as they lose complete control and their strength is magnified by tapping into their pure beast. Therefore, it is vital they have their Mate before they turn rogue and kill everything in sight or with the scent of their Mate such as family members and friends.

Rejection- Does not exist within this universe. The Mating bond is predetermined and tied to both the souls of the Unnatural and the Human and trying to destroy or break the bond would be like trying to remove your soul, lungs, or heart something that you have no control of.

Mates- are an Unnatural's one true love and destined soulmate, a Mate cannot be chosen or rejected by anyone despite class or rank. All Unnaturals have a Mate which they can identify through scent and direct contact, but all Unnaturals have an innate compass or sense that leads them to their mate once they've reached their prime.

Naturally, a Unnatural is quite possessive of their Mate and quite clingy as well and generally don't like their speaking or having affection for anyone but them. Also, Mates can't stay away from each other for too long because the process is very painful especially for The Unnatural, due to their heightened senses they feel the strength of the bond tenfold even before meeting their Mate sometimes.

Upon meeting their Mate a Unnatural will ultimately get stronger and their power will increase as long as they have their Mate. In some cases a Mate has been known to gain specific abilities after being claimed, such as being able to heal their Mate or erase or share certain memories from their mates mind.

Despite common belief mates aren't chosen or needed for reproduction or to make stronger Werewolves or Unnaturals in general. Mates are the other half of an Unnatural's soul, which means they care for them and love them not for children but love, and Mates are not gender based either, any can be mated to a Unnatural just like anyone can have a soul which means that same sex Mates exist and are quite common.

A Repel- is when an Unnatural typically a Vampire or Werewolf is separated from their Mate or they've unintentionally hurt their Mate in some way, then their inner beast will try to force its way out of the Unnatural's body in order to coax their mate not being able to handle the pain of being without them or hurting them.

For a Werewolf, they will experience a great deal of pain as well as multiple marks and scratches will appear on their body as their wolf will try to claw their way out of their body.

For a Vampire, they will convulse into multiple seizures and choke out any blood that they've ever drank.

Hybrids- are the result of a Mating between two Unnaturals such as a Werewolf and a Dhampir or a Werewolf and a Fae or a Dhampir and a Fae. Typically Vampires can't have children since they are the Undead but a Dhampir, the underling of a Vampire who hasn't been turned is still very much fertile and can reproduce an heir which will be half dhampir and half werewolf and therefore during their prime  can be turned into a full fledged hybrid with the blood of a full Vampire as well as keep the Werewolf side.
