Chapter TWENTY-FIVE

"Woah.. these are amazing!" Alya beemed in excitement as we entered my room. There were racks upon racks of clothes to choose from..

"Um.. aren't these a bit too much?" Mari asked worriedly, to tell you honestly I thought she did go a bit too far..

"Nah.. these are from the most recent collections, well, what're we waiting for? Christmas?! Let's gooo!" I cheered as I raced both Mari and Alya to the nearest dress rack..

In the end I chose a peacock dress. Mari ended up with a red dress with black accents. And Alya chose a weird choice because "summer is always in style" she said and so she chose a white dress with orange flower silhouettes. Both Nino and Nathaniel got out of the fitting room just as Alya, Mari and I were having our hair done. Alya had hers straightened while Mari had hers down, with the end folding into her face framing it. I just let Mom's stylists do their job.. Nathaniel had on a black suit and a red rose sticking out of his suit pocket.. Nino had on a white Suit with an orange bow tie it's cute how they chose their suits to pair with their dates..

"Woah.. you two look great!.." I beemed and they both blushed at the compliment.

"Wait.. Alya and I both have dates.. you don't have one! _(Your Name) what are we going to do?!" She screeched whilst I had only shrugged. I always went there solo, what's so special about this year that it's going to be different?

"I'm calling Adrien!" Alya stated before whipping her phone out..

"Wh-what?! No! Alya No!!" I screamed because I couldn't stand just yet, they were still fixing my hair. She grinned at me cheekily. But it slowly faded away.. she walked over to me, her gaze seemingly apologetical.

".. um- I'm not sure if I didn't hear right but.. I thought he said he had a date?" I erupted into a coughing fit. It's probably with Chloe.. I smiled..

"I'm fine going solo though, don't worry" I smiled. But I couldn't deny the light tinge of hurt that was felt in my chest.. I guess I really am falling hard, for Adrien..

"Done!.." the stylist beemed as she finished my hair. It had three small sections braided on each side that was tied on the back of my head. She placed small jewels on the braids and it even had my miraculous clipped on top. I had my bangs _(optional) and fringes framing my face. I smiled

"Thank you.." she grinned at me giving me a thumbs up and started packing. I glanced at the clock and it was an hour before we had to leave

"_(Your Name) dear, someone is at the door.. I think he's looking for you.." I didn't know why but I rushed out of the room and bolted downstairs. I heard the light clicking of the doorbell and I giddily opened it..

"Hey um.. Good evening.. that'll be 1.99$" I smiled awkwardly..

"Oh-Umm.. sure, here you go.." I handed him 2 dollar bills and grabbed the pizza box.. "So.. who among you ordered pizza? It's here!.." Nino ran and even jumped over some steps while I day on the couch on my phone, I was checking my schedule for tomorrow.. I have 2 days free. Cool!

"Good evening.." mom greeted us from the top of the stairs. I stood up and elbowed Mari who was beside me. She and the rest hurriedly stood up and bowed along with me..

"Pleasant evening Madame/Mom" she nodded in reply. And we awkwardly continued eating, she looked at the pizza as if it was the most disgusting thing in the world.. and she clicked her tongue making us all stiffen..

"I knew that man was un-trustworthy.. Miranda, call the driver and tell him to prepare the Limosine we are to depart in a few.." Miranda nodded and bowed before slowly backing away. But before she could fully leave the room. A beep resounded startling us. "I guess he does somehow know how to keep his word.. _(Your Name)? Bring what you intend to bring.. same goes to your friends and we'll go out together" I nodded before grasping Alya's wrist. I grabbed a plain blue purse and stuffed my phone and wallet in. I hurriedly wore a pair of doll shoes with my mom's logo in each side. A single lotus flower..

"Everyone ready?" They nodded whilst I gasped.. I ran over my dresser and got a ribbon for Mari and Alya "here, this'll be so people would know you have dates.." I winked ".. now! Everyone IS ready.. let's go?" I let then go first as I talked to Nappy silently..

"This is going to be amazeballs _(Your Name)! But still, you have to feed me some Marshies.. okay?" I giggled and nodded. As I reached the grand staircase.. I was greeted by an unlikely scene. There he was.. at the bottom of the stairs conversing with both Nino and Nathaniel.. blond hair, and green eyes.. there's no mistake, that is Adrien Agreste.. everything was in slow motion. The way he turned his head to look over in my direction.. the way his eyes flickered from Nathaniel's to mine.. the way his lopsided smile turn into a full one upon gaxing into my eyes. I couldn't help it.. he's beautiful.. I was so focused on to him that I became lost.. lost for words, lost into his gaze and I even lost my footing.. wait what?!

"Kyah!" I screeched as I lost my footing on the last step. Luckily though, Adrien had rushed over and had caught me in his arms making me blush.. he chuckled as I tried my best onto hiding my face from his gaze.. that was so embarrassing..

*Click* a click of a camera startled both me and Adrien into pulling away from each other.. I looked down. Alya and Mari both grasped their dates' arms and made their way outside..

"We'll be outside waiting for you two dudes.. Adrien? Stay cool" Nino winked at Adrien and he blushed.. looking down..

"So-uhh.. I thought you have a date tonight.." I asked looking over to him..

"Of course I did.. you are.. aren't you my date?" He asked, his eyes were soft as he stated those words without hesitation. It wasn't even a question it was a statement

"But Alya said-.."

"Well she told me earlier that she needed me to accompany someone and be her date tonight but I couldn't because I have a date with my Girlfriend.. but turns out my girlfriend was the one who needed a date.. So here I am.." I was blushing.. big-time.. he just called me his girlfriend! Someone please pinch me..

"Oww!" I whined as I felt Nappy pinching my hand that was near my purse. Adrien quickly took notice and grasped my hand making my heartbeat skyrocket.

"Woah.. what just happened?" I panicked quickly looking both left and right.

"Uhh.. must be a bug bite!!" I retrieved my hand back from his and looked down.. I then took notice of his outfit.. he wore a white dress shirt with a light blue coat. His coat was open so it didn't really need a bow or tie.. "You look gorgeous tonight.." I uttered unknowingly to which I covered my mouth upon realizing my mistake.. "err- I'm-"

"You too.. you look gorgeous! No you're stunning" he stated and bowed with his hand asking for mine. I happily obliged grazing my fingers into his. And he held on to it, he then gently pressed his lips at the back of my hand.. I heard a faint click of a camera but paid no mind into it.. I was not going to have this moment ruined just yet..

"Shall we m'lady?" He asked whilst offering his arm out for me. I smiled up at him and held onto his arm. Arms linked and both eyes locked together I giggled, hiding the fact that I was embarrassed, before answering..

"We shall Monsieur.."
