'Harry stop texting me. I'm trying get some homework done for Christ's sake.' I texted Harry.
He instantly replied 'Tell me honestly you don't enjoy texting me and I'll leave you alone and never text you.'
I sighed. 'You know I can never say that.' I could feel him smirking as he read my text and replied 'You better go anyway. Liam just got off the phone with your mum.'
I was confused 'Liam was on the phone with my mum for what reason?'
'She'll tell you Chase. Just ask her.'
'Don't you "Chase" me, Styles.' I replied.
Before Harry could reply, my mum called me from the kitchen 'Skye honey, come down here.'
I ran the stairs as fast as I could and probably made it in record time. My mum, dad, and Meredith. My mum looked kind of worried and mervous. What was going on? Was someone hurt? Did something happen?
She started to talk as soon as she saw me. "Skye, I just got off the phone with Liam. He asked me if you were interested in a summer job as the boys' junior stylist. I told him you probably wouldn't take it but I just-"
I interupted her" Hold on a second. One Direction, the biggest boy band ever offered me a job and you said that I'd turned it down. Are you joking me?" I was shocked and somewhat relieved.
"Well you obviously you can't. You don't need a job." My mum crossed her arms.
"Mum, I've had a job since last summer. I think I can handle this." I laughed.
"That's not the point. You're job was at the local store which is a twenty minutes walk from home-" "Wait, so they offered it to her, but not me?" Meredith sounded offended.
"Mer, you barely know them. You talk to them once a month, I text all of them at least once a day. Come one. Honestly." I said.
"Oh yeah, that's very true." she shrugged. "I'll be leaving then, Ben's probably waiting for me." She got out of her chair and left.
"Mom, you have to let me go." I pleaded.
She looked at my dad. "Mat, you tell her something. Back me up here."
My dad shrugged "She's sixteen. You know those boys anyway; you and Pat have been friends for a long time."
My mum looked like he had betrayed her. "She's only sixteen." she said "She's not old enough."
I laughed "Mum, come on. Please, this could be the best thing for me." I looked at her desparately. "I could gain some money and have fun doing it." I begged with my eyes.
"I still think it's a bad idea, where would you sleep in the bus?" she said. "We probably won't be on the bus for long, they usually stay in hotels. Besides, even if we have to I'll sleep in the girls section. Danielle and Eleanor stay there sometimes."
She looked at me and then at my dad. She shrugged and said "Okay, I guess you could go. But I'll be checking in with you, everyday. And I mean it." she smiled.
I ran and hugged her really hard. "Thank you, thank you, thank you. Thank you so much!" I jumped up and down.
I was so happy I could die. Later, in my room, Harry texted me 'Good news or bad news?' I smiled 'Good news: I'll be seeing you soon.' He replied 'Everyone's partying, we r gonna have so much fun'
I got a text from all the others too.
'Can't wait to see you xxx' from Louis
' You can thnk me later for taking to ur mum' from Liam
'Just heard ur coming with us! Im excited' from Niall
and 'I've been waiting to see you for so long, I can't believe I'm finally gonna see you' from Zayn. Needless to say, the last one made me blush furiously.
