This chapter is quite long, and pretty much all of it happens in the past and Skye just remembers them. Hope you like it! x
Chapter 12- Flashes From the Past
'You know I'll take you to another world' I was lying on my bed, listening to 'Another World' and thinking about my memories which seemed to be all about one person: Zayn.
*Flash Back*
There was a knock at the door and I was just changing in to my swimsuit to go swimming in our pool. I threw on a dress from my closet "Come on in."
The door opened and Zayn walked in "Hey Skye." He looked at me.
"I didn't know you were coming?"
"My mum was coming over and I came, too." He shrugged "You going somewhere?" Zayn questioned.
"Eh, yeah, swimming." I said "But I don't have to." I added quickly. Even though it was only the second time we had met after his audition, I knew that he was terrified of water.
"No, no. It's OK. I don't want to interrupt your plans." He said.
"No, we'll do something together."
"Skye, please. I'll just sit outside the water and we can talk."
"But-"
"No buts, let’s go." he started walking outside. I hesitated; I didn't exactly want to go swimming in front of Zayn.
"Skye, come on." Zayn came back in and took my hand in his and dragged me out of the room. I felt a tingling sensation go up my arm and my cheeks reddened.
"What are you two doing?" My sister said when she saw us. Then her eyes drifted to Zayn and I's hand in each other. "Oh," she smiled. "well then." she winked as she left. Zayn didn't let go of my hand. Not that I was complaining or anything.
"Let's go." he didn't seem to notice anything weird had happened.
We got to our basement swimming pool and I opened the door, letting Zayn's hand drop to his side.
