Obito and Rin forever

Chapter 7

Team Minato left the village, walking while talking about their future plans and goals.

Rin: My future goal is to be a successful medical ninja and learn more ninjutsu! What about you Obito? 

Obito: I don't know... But you know what is my future plan is... I am going to be the next Hokage! But I don't know what to achieve... Like I learned how to use my Sharingan and some ninjutsu, so I think it's pointless to learn something else. 

Kakashi: As they say there is room for improvements, I think you can learn more things rather than just lying in your bed and waiting for missions. Plus, you don't have a team of Genins that's the thing. 

Obito: Yeah I get it, but you know Hokage doesn't have time to improve his skills in ninjutsu, in fact, he will have to improve and make his village better so people can live there happily without any trouble.

Kakashi: But you're not Hokage now, so you still have time, don't you understand that being Hokage means to defend the village is the most important for Hokage, and I think with the only Sharingan and with only fire style jutsu would not make you a strong Hokage... Do you know what I mean? 

Obito: Yeah... I do... 

Rin: It's okay Obito you still have time to improve. So don't worry about it!

Rin grinned at Obito and Obito smiled back. As for Kakashi, he took his book from his back pocket and started to read it.

Rin: What are you reading, Kakashi? 

Kakashi: Oh this? I founded in the bookshelves in the bookstore recently, and I was really interested in its name and cover. And it's about...

Kakashi started to tell with enthusiasm 

Kakashi: This book is about ROMANCE! DRAMA! AND THE HARD LOVE BETWEEN MAN AND WOMAN! And it's amazing!

Obito and Rin had a confused look. 

Obito: (I've never seen Kakashi this... eh... enthusiastic?  He's always so serious. Maybe his attitude has changed since the last mission.)

*Flashback*

Kakashi: The two of us need to carry on with the mission by ourselves.

Obito: Wh-what?! Do you know what you're saying?

Kakashi: Yes

Obito: But Rin! What about Rin?!

Kakashi: We'll think about Rin later. They want to know what our plan is, so they won't kill her straight away. We should be more worried about them learning our tactics. To a ninja, his mission is everything. That's the ninja code.

Obito: The ninja code?! There's something way more important than that stupid code!! What about Rin?! She's one of our comrades! She helped us time and time again with her medical ninjutsu. She supported us the entire time! She's... SHE'S A PRICELESS FRIEND!

*Flashback over" 

Obito: (Man it was a long time since we had a mission after Sensei became the new Hokage.)

They already crossed the leaf forest, and it was sun setting so they decided to camp in the hidden in the grass. They set up a campfire and ate some snacks they took, except for Kakashi who was just reading his book quietly. 

Obito: Are you not hungry Kakashi? 

Kakashi noticed Obito was talking to him and quickly responded.

Kakashi: Huh? Oh no, I am okay. 

Rin: Are you sure? Because I didn't see you had a lunch too. 

Kakashi: No, Rin it's okay. I am not really hungry. 

Obito: Do you remember guys our mission here, this sure brings memories.

Rin: I don't want to talk about it really... But yeah I do.

Obito understood Rin and quickly changed the topic. And three of them had long conversations until they all went to sleep.
