Darkness has us all
Even the purest of the bunch
It sneaks up on you while you're not looking
Then is snatches you
Out of nowhere
You try to hold on
But you slip
Slip...slip...slip...
And then one day you start to drown
Falling
On the way down
Passing others who have the same destiny
Until you reach a tunnel of light
And then nothing
