Well you got what you wanted,
aren't you happy? It finally happened.
Sure, I said "I'm so happy",
but can't you see I'm not?
Four years ago I didn't know,
what I feel for you now.
And she is my best friend.
Today you nudged me to show,
how you two were holding hands.
The sight laid upon my eyes,
in the pit of my stomach
I felt a burning sensation one
I for sure did not like.
Attempting to block out my feelings,
I turned my attention elsewhere wishing.
Hoping.
