"Well hello there, Rosalee." The man that I am assuming is Harry spoke in a sinister way.
I sat there frozen in my spot, looking up at the man who is probably responsible for this. He let out a chuckle before saying something to the man beside him.
"Leo, go get the car ready to leave."
Does he think this is funny? Kidnapping an innocent girl, locking her up in a room, and taking her from everything she's ever known, everything she's ever loved? It is most definitely not funny.
"You have the wrong girl..." I spoke up after gaining the small ounce of confidence.
"You are Rosalee Beckett, am I correct?" He chuckled.
"Yeah but I haven't done anything wrong..." I said while looking down at my wrists, small bruises becoming visible.
"Well since you are Rosalee Beckett, I have exactly who I want. And I have a very good reason to take you." He smirked.
"My parents will find me." I whispered. He must of heard me since he started doing that stupid chuckle thing again. My wrist was grabbed harshly as he raised me from my spot on the ground and pushed me to sit on the bed.
"Listen to me very carefully. We are leaving now, and since I have heard that you have been fighting the authority with bats, and refusal to eat, I have some ground rules while traveling for you..." He started.
"First, you will never leave my side, you will follow behind me closely. Keep you head down, don't look at anyone. And for the love of god, if I catch you talking to anyone without my permission I will make you regret it. I can do terrible things to you and your family Rosalee, don't test me." God, why did he have to be so aggravating and so scary.
Arguing was pointless so I kept quiet, earning a smirk of approval from Harry. He nodded his head, signalling for me to follow him. I kept my head down while trailing behind him. He lead me down the stairs, and out the front door. I slightly looked up to see Leo throwing my bag in the trunk before slamming it shut. He signaled something to Harry before I was led to one of the car doors. Leo opened the door for me, before joining Harry in the front of the car.
I sat in the back by myself as Harry and Leo chatted in the front.
"Remind me again why we couldn't just take the private jet?" Leo questioned.
"It would cause too much attention. I have everything figured out. Alex is already there getting things in line." Harry answered back flatly.
"Where are we going?" I asked causing them both to snap their attention to me.
"That's for me to know, and for you to find out." Harry replied. The remainder of the ride was silent. I looked out the tinted window, signs flying by. I saw multiple signs signalling that we were approaching an airport. I've never flown before. I wonder if that's where we are going, they said something about a jet. Isn't there supposed to be a lot of security at an airport? I'm sure my family has gotten the word out, they'll be looking for me. My dad is a known business man, he can spread the word. I bet my face is everywhere. Someone will be bound to recognize me.
We approached a sign saying LAX Airport. So we were obviously flying somewhere. I didn't want to get my hopes up, it seemed like Harry had this all planed out. He wouldn't let me just be recognized if he knew it was a possibility.
We passed many cars, and entrances. It seemed like the farther we drove, the less people were there. Harry suddenly stopped the car, before he and Leo climbed out. I reached my door handle trying to open it but the door wouldn't budge. He put the child lock on. Harry opened my door while Leo grabbed the bags. Before I could get out, Harry grabbed a hold of my arm tightly causing me to look up at him.
"Remember what I told you..." Harry hissed at me.
"Alex is over here." Leo called to Harry before we made our way over to him. It seemed like we were going in a way no one else knew about. We were the only ones over here.
"Aye guys, the coast is clear. This leads you right past security." The man named Alex spoke as we got closer.
See, I knew Harry was going to have a plan to get me past security. My last hope would be that someone will recognize me from the news.
We walked through a long, dark hallway. When we reached the end, Alex pushed the open the door, and held it for all of us as we made our way in. I looked up at my new surroundings. People were rushing around everywhere, lugging their bags behind them. I saw a guy standing against the wall opposite from me. His eyes were locked on mine as he flashed me a bright smile. I shyly smiled back at him. Maybe I should ask him for help.
As I opened my mouth Harry's head snapped back at me. I could feel my eyes grow wide before lowering my head to face the ground. I felt Harry grab my wrist and begin to drag me off. He followed Alex, and Leo to where our plane was supposed to take off. We walked over by the large glass windows where the three of them sat down.
"Sit, Rosalee" Harry commanded.
I wonder why he was the only one who talked to me. The other two guys don't even acknowledge my existence. I sat there with my head facing down in my lap, trying to become invisible to Harry. Out of the corner of my eye I saw someone take a seat next to me. I wanted to look up but I could already feel Harry's hard stare on me.
"Hey, I'm Will." My head slowly looked up to the guy from earlier now sitting beside me. I opened my mouth to speak but quickly shut it to look over to Harry. Harry glared down at me and shook his head no. I sadly looked back over to Will before focusing my attention back down to my lap. He could've been the one to save me, but I'm too worried that Harry will do something to hurt my family. I have to listen to him in order to protect my family.
"Seriously dude, you don't own her. You can't control her." I heard Will speak up to Harry.
"Excuse me? I think I can so I will. You better keep your mouth shut and mind your own business. I am in charge of her, right Rosalee?" I felt Harry starring down at me again, I slowly nodded my head. I didn't move my attention away from my lap but I could see Will quickly get up and storm off. He was muttering something but I couldn't understand.
I wonder what my family is doing. I bet they're worried sick. I feel terrible that this is happening, we don't deserve this. They don't deserve this, they have never done anything wrong.
"Today we have a special guest. He is the king of the business world, please help me welcome Maxwell Beckett." My head sprang up, and my mouth dropped open as I looked at the TV placed a few feet away from me on the wall.
"Maxwell, it's so nice to see you again! Please, tell us how you and your family have been since we've last seen you." My eyes stayed glued to the TV waiting for my dad to tell the world about his missing daughter.
"Well Martha, I have to say that we have been doing very well. My son is definitely learning the ropes of the business chain, and my wife and daughter have been doing great. Life could not be better at the moment." I saw my dad smile and I felt my heart break. I felt the tears well up in my eyes threatening to spill.
I looked over at Harry, his eyes looked squinted in confusion before he looked at me.
I looked back down at my lap, letting the tears fall. What was my dad doing? Why didn't he say something, did he not know? No, he has to know. It's been days, he knows.
Does he not care that his only daughter, his youngest child is missing...
