Kara

I greeted Toby a small hi and he did it back, smiling. Toby is an amiable guy, he was very kind. Well, that's what I've noticed the past maybe two or three hours he was at the house.

Right now the only ones around the fire was Riley and I. Connor went to get a jacket, Toby helped my brothers get drinks, food, and something to start a campfire thing with at the house.

"Do you play?" I asked Riley curiously and broke the silence, he had a guitar by his chair and so I'm guessing he knew how to play the guitar. I've always wanted to learn how to. He gave me a kind smile and nodded.

"I've always wanted to learn." I stared at the guitar, for no reason at all.

"Here," he moved a seat over next to me and handed me the guitar, "try it" he gave me an assuring smile.

I strummed the strings, not one finger on any chord. I just strummed.

"You've got the strumming down, do you know any chords?" He asked and I shake my head, no, "Well, the easiest one is.." he explained and showed me the easiest note to play in right about only three minutes, until Connor showed up. He had a jacket around him now and he had also brought blankets.

"What're you guys doing?" He asked and threw Riley one of the blankets.

"She wanted to learn how to play" Riley answered putting the guitar by the chair. He stayed in the seat next to mine and settled himself on it.

"You don't know how to play the guitar?" Connor asked surprised and I shook my head timidly, "How do you live?!" he says jokingly with a shocked look on his face. Just a few minuted after Connor arrived, my brothers and Toby did too, with drinks like root beer and soda, marshmallows for s'mores, and some things to start a camp fire.

"That's my seat?" Toby looked at Riley confused.

"It's just a seat." Riley shrugged. Toby shook his head and went on to another chair, he wasn't pissed or anything. He is probably used to this like I was since we were both the youngest ones.

"Let's play a cliché party game." Connor sat upright from his seat, "Truth or dare!" We all shrugged nonchalantly, meaning who knows what, but Connor continued anyways, "Kara!" He shouted. I looked over to him and had a slightly feared smile on my face, "Truth or dare?"

"Um.. truth?"

"Boring.." He joked, "but, how many boyfriends have you had in the past?"

"Zero" Connor's mischievous smile disappeared as I said the amount.

"Ah, ok.. ok. Your turn!"

"Umm.. Riley!" Riley's head turned to me, "Truth or dare?"

"Dare!" He said, oh so confidently.

I thought for a quick moment about what I should make him do, "I dare you.. to go into the water for two minutes!" A playful smirk was making it's way onto my face as I saw his confident smile fade at my words.

"What? But.. it's so cold."

"C'mon Ri, don't be a chicken!" Connor shouts which resulted into all of us laughing.

Riley sighed and stood up. He walked a little bit away from where he sat and looked back at me, "You are so going to pay." He says before he took off his blue t-shirt and threw it on his seat.

A chorus of deep, loud cheers from the guys got me laughing as they all mocked and [sort of] cheered for Riley.

After the whole two minutes, I grabbed the towel that was sitting on the arm rest of Riley's chair and walked up to him as he walked out of the water and shook his head at me. I threw him the towel and he used it to dry his hair first. He shot me a glare yet all I could do was laugh and which I did.

"That was too cold!" Riley complained as he put his shirt back on and sat down, but this time, on the sand, just a little bit away from the fire.

"Ok, my turn now." Riley rubbed his hands together and looked around, "Toby!"

Toby

"Yes?" I asked, with a slight ounce of fear in my voice.

"Truth or dare?"

I thought for a moment, Riley is good at thinking of dares, some even slightly crucial. But if I choose truth, he'd make me answer a question that he already knows the embarrassing truth to.

"Truth."

"Ok, um.. ah, what's the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you?" A smirk played around on Riley's lips, he definitely knew the answer to this question.

I sighed and glared at him, "Last summer when we were on that cruise and you pushed me off of the diving deck where every single person saw and laughed."

"That's right!" Riley shouts causing everyone to laugh.

"How high was it?" Kara peeked her head behind Riley and asked me.

"Let's just say that I am definitely lucky that I'm still here today." I say which made her have a slightly shocked look on her face but she then laughed with me afterwards about it.

We all spent the rest of the night laughing and getting to know each other more. Kara was quieter than her brothers but she would laugh along to the jokes someone would make here and there.

Right now, it was 8:00 and we've all decided to go home, Connor said he was getting sleepy. Oh Connor.

Before we left, I saw Riley and Kara talking just for a little bit. Riley caught up with Connor and I, "What was that about?" I asked curiously and shoved my hand into my pockets, it was in fact a chilly night.

"Nothing, she just asked me if I could teach her some guitar." He shrugged.

"Why didn't she ask me instead? I'm way better at the guitar than you are." Connor joked, and of course, Riley had a comeback.

"Yeah, but I've got the charm." Riley says playfully.

"Pssh, yeah right." Connor scoffed.

And all I could think of for the rest of the night was how great it was hanging out with new friends and how weird my brothers were.
