Sophia smiled at Junior as he held up his arms so that the blonde could pick him up, he had an adorable smile on his face as Sophia picked him up and moved to sit down on the couch.

“Hola,” the blonde cooed as she settled Junior on her lap as they got comfortable, she was wearing a black lace insert leather look tee and high waist skinny jeans paired with black high top converse trainers.

It was the afternoon after Cristiano had kissed her and he had just got back from training and their mothers were coming for dinner that evening to talk about the wedding.

“Mama,” Junior said making the blonde look at him surprised before horror started to set in; she stared at him speechless wondering what was going on, she certainly hadn’t taught him that word.

“Mama,” Junior said again making Sophia swallowed as she wondered what she was going to do; she doubted that Cristiano would be happy when he learnt what his son was calling her.

Junior smiled up at Sophia sweetly as he played with her hands, he didn’t understand that she wasn’t his mother but she was the closest thing that he had to one.

“No sweetie… I’m Sophia,” the blonde said as she tried to stay calm, she held his little hands in hers wondering what she was going to do; she didn’t want to tell anyone the exciting news that Junior had finally said his first word.

“Mama,” Junior repeated as he smiled up at the blonde, she stared at him as she tried to figure out where he had learnt the word; tried to figure out where he had learnt the word; she knew she had never mentioned it to him and there was no way that Cristiano could have done this.

Groaning softly, Sophia missed Cristiano walking into the room until he had sat next to her; she jumped making him look at her oddly as he flicked on the television to check the sports results.

“I didn’t do it,” the blonde blurted out knowing that there was no way that Junior was going to stay quiet about his first word; she looked at Cristiano, who was looking at her before Junior started to talk.

“Mama,” the little boy said clapping his hands making the footballer stare at his son who was smiling at Sophia; he looked happy with himself and Cristiano took a deep breath as he tried to think of what to say.

“I didn’t teach him that,” Sophia said knowing that she wasn’t the little boy’s mother, she was his nanny and it was her duty to look after him; she had never thought he would get this confused.

Cristiano sighed and nodded though that wasn’t why he was upset; he had always wanted his son’s first word to be papa, even if he hadn’t spent a lot of time with him when he was growing up.

The footballer knew how Junior had learnt it, Cristiano had been talking about Sophia with Kaka while he was out; and Kaka had mentioned that she would make the perfect mother for his son and any of Cristiano’s future children.

Cristiano slowly moved to take Junior from Sophia so he could spend some time with him; however the little boy wasn’t having it, he was more than happy sitting on Sophia’s lap.

Dolores and Suzanna had been thrilled when Junior had spoken during dinner and had proceeded to tell Cristiano and Sophia that it was a good omen for their impending wedding.

Sophia started to carefully settle Junior down for the night, while Cristiano was on the phone with Jorge; Dolores and Suzanna had left the couple alone after they had finished dinner.

Stepping out of the bathroom the blonde carried Junior across the hall and into his bedroom; she smiled as she watched the little boy rub his tired brown eyes as he held onto her.

“Mama,” he said softly before he rested his head against her shoulder, he closed his eyes as the blonde smiled down at him as she carefully settled him down in his bed and covered him up.

Sophia pressed a kiss to his head as she carefully moved away from him and turned off the main light in the room, she quietly stepped into the hallway and closed the door gently after making sure that she had picked up the baby monitor.

“Obrigado,” Cristiano said making Sophia jump, she clapped hand over her heart as she looked at the footballer who was leaning against the far wall watching her; she knew he hadn’t been there a moment ago.

“Obrigado for looking after him… it wasn’t until he spoke that I realised how much I’ve missed,” Cristiano said making the blonde nod as he moved towards her, Sophia watched him carefully; she knew it had hurt him when Junior’s first word had been Mama.

Cristiano stopped in front of her, and gently brushed some of her hair away from her face; Sophia leant into his touch as she looked up into his eyes, she didn’t know what was going on anymore.

“I can’t do this anymore,” Cristiano whispered as his brown eyes searched Sophia’s, he knew that there was no point denying his feelings anymore; he’d had a taste of the blonde now and he knew there was no going back.

“Can’t do what?” she asked curiously, however Cristiano quickly pressed his lips to Sophia’s and brought her close; slowly the two started to back towards Cristiano’s bedroom which was down the corridor away from Junior’s.

The blonde pulled back from him, she didn’t want to make a mistake and regret it later on; she needed to know what was happening as she stepped back away from Cristiano.

“I can’t fight this,” he said making her look at him as he stepped towards her; Sophia allowed Cristiano to kiss her again, as she wrapped her arms around his neck.

“You’re all I think about, if you aren’t there then I want you to be… I think I’m falling for you,” he said as he pulled away from her again, this time stepping away from Sophia who licked her lips as she tried to wrap her head around what was going on.

Cristiano watched her as he tried to clear his thoughts, he knew that he had to do this right or he would risk destroying his relationship with her; he didn’t want anything in the way anymore.

“I want to marry you, Sophia…” he said making her watch as he moved back towards her; he stopped right in front of her and took her left hand before he got down on one knee making the blonde stare at him shocked.

“I know it doesn’t matter what you say right now… but I want to ask you for myself, Sophia, I don’t know what to do without you anymore, will you marry me?” he said making the blonde look at him surprised not sure what to make of his sudden proposal.

But just looking into his eyes, Sophia knew her answer, she had known from the moment that he had kissed her that there was no denying her feelings for him.

“Yes,” she said making Cristiano smile before he moved to kiss her again, he slowly started to led the towards his room; he needed her tonight as he held her close to his body knowing that he was going to show her how he felt.
