Cristiano sighed as he stared blankly at his team-mates training, he didn’t care that Jose was stopping him from playing the next match; in fear for the mental health of his star forward.

Cristiano had stopped caring about his career, his only care being that he had hurt Sophia and she was no longer with him; he was never going to see her again.

The team watched him as he sat on the bench, they hated seeing Cristiano like this and they hated Gerard even more for what he was doing; the defender didn’t even seem to care that he was hurting other people as long as he had what he wanted.

Iker sighed as he made his way over to his friend as a break was called, he had been in contact with his best friend Xavi and had called in a favor; no one liked what was being done and they knew something needed to be done.

The captain sat down next to Cristiano and offered him a small reassuring smile, he knew that if something wasn’t done soon then the forward would be dropped completely from the team.

“You still love her,” Iker guessed making Cristiano nod though he didn’t speak; he hadn’t spoken much since Gerard had stolen the blonde back to Barcelona without a care in the world and had left Cristiano to deal with the media backlash.

Iker patted his shoulder, trying to comfort his friend; he didn’t know what Cristiano was going through and he wasn’t going to pretend that he did.

What had happened was nothing more than a cruel twist of fate and he knew that Cristiano shouldn’t blame himself for what had happened.

“The players from Barcelona while they might not like you, they care about Sophia and they want to help; Gerard’s a great guy but she was never truly happy with him not like when she was with you,” Iker said as he handed Cristiano a piece of paper before he got up and walked away.

The Spaniard headed back other to the others who had all been watching the conversation from a distance before they all returned to training; Cristiano furrowed his brow as he slowly opened the paper to reveal an address in Barcelona.

Gerard bit his lip as he watched Sophia move around the living room cleaning, he sighed knowing that he was in trouble; his team-mates had finally issued him an ultimatum and he had stopped Sophia from seeing any of them.

He knew that some of his team-mates were speaking with those from Real Madrid trying to work out how to get Cristiano and Sophia back together which he didn’t understand; he was so sure that the blonde was happy with him.

Gerard smiled as he watched her move, Sophia had just finished moving around the living room and was walking towards the kitchen; he dreaded the thought of losing her to someone like Cristiano, she deserved so much better and he was it.

Sophia sighed as Lionel’s words still rung in her ears even after a week, it was true that she knew something wasn’t right with Gerard at the moment but she couldn’t see her life without him.

The blonde shook her head as her heart throbbed, she still hadn’t told anyone about the fact that her heart ached and she didn’t know why; it was like it was trying to tell her what she had forgotten.

It was strange but she felt like she was missing someone important in her life; however when she asked her mother or Gerard they just shrugged her off and told her ignore it, it was nothing more than a side-effect of her accident.

“You okay?” Gerard asked her as he stepped into the kitchen turning she offered him a fake smile and nodded her head; she didn’t want to upset him but she wanted to find out what had really happened to her.
