Demon or Goddess?

Meeting

Elizabeth's POV:

Last night, when Meliodas got back we had a talk with my mother. She said that we had a meeting today.

But of course he's late. He's always late. This is ridiculous! The meeting my mother wanted us both to be at was with the Demon King and his two sons!

And Meliodas is late! Of course he doesn't know who the meeting is with. His real father and brothers! What the hell!?

The meeting was meant to start half hour ago but Meliodas hasn't showed up.

"I'm sorry. If I knew he would be late I would've rescheduled the time" my mother apologised

"It's fine. It's not like you could predict this would happen" the Demon King responded

Even though it's his son they're talking about, he doesn't seem the tiniest bit interested in Meliodas. I looked at Zeldris and Estarossa to see them talking slightly. They both seemed very awkward here.

The next thing we knew was that the door was swung open and Meliodas came stumbling in, falling over as if he was in a rush. I was trying not to laugh at him.

"Ow" he moaned

He got up and looked at my mother.

"Late again Meliodas"

"I'm sorry. I was up late reading"

"I would say don't do it again but your always late"

Meliodas nodded and then looked at the other side of the table.

"I'm sorry for being late" he apologised before coming over and sitting next to me. The meeting began but it was mainly between my mother and the Demon King. The thing is, they were arguing about Meliodas.

After an hour of them arguing they both looked at Meliodas.

"What?" Meliodas mumbled

"Did you or did you not save Zeldris yesterday from one of the Archangels?" My mother asked

"I did. I stopped Sariel from attacking him"

"Why is that?"

"Sariel was after him for no reason. Zeldris was with me the entire time yesterday and he didn't do anything"

"Is it true that you protected Zeldris claiming he was your brother and then proceeded to rip the wings off of Sariel?"

"Well yes but---"

"Meliodas, you have no excuse for that"

"I do! Sariel had no reason to go after him. And if you just ask your daughter then you would know that what I'm saying is true"

Everyone looked at me except Meliodas.

"Is it true Elizabeth? That you sent Sariel after Zeldris?"

"I did. But you said to make sure Meliodas didn't meet his brothers no matter what and I accidentally did so I thought that---"

"Well you did the right thing"

"Wait what?! She sent a Goddess to kill a twelve year old for what? Being my brother? How is that fair!?"

"Enough Meliodas"

"No! This isn't fair! Elizabeth this is all your fault!"

"Meliodas I----"

"I don't wanna hear it! And as far as I'm concerned, those two are my only siblings!"

He motioned to Zeldris and Estarossa. They looked worried.

"Meliodas! That's enough!" My mother yelled

"Why the hell is she allowed to send Goddesses after children when they haven't done anything wrong?!"

"Melio-----"

"Elizabeth you can stay out of it! This is your fault to begin with!"

"Meliodas that's enough! Go to your room!" My mother yelled

Meliodas clenched his fists and genually looked angry.

"I hate you both!!" He screamed before running off

The Demon King and the two princes had stayed quiet as Meliodas was getting scolded but Zeldris looked really guilty.

Well that was until he stood up and left the table.

"And where are you going?" My mother asked

"Where do you think"

"You can't go to Melio---"

"I can and I will. You have no right to stop us seeing eachother"

Zeldris walked out leaving the room silent. Until Estarossa groaned and then got up and ran out after Zeldris.

My mother looked at me so I knew that I had to go after them and stop them from reaching Meliodas.

I ran out and looked around. I couldn't see them so I just headed straight for Meliodas' room but stopped when I heard them talking. This can't be good.

Zeldris' POV:

When we entered Meliodas was on the balcony trying to calm down. He heard the door open and looked back at us. He smiled slightly but then looked away.

"You two shouldn't be here. If the Supreme Deity finds out she'll have your heads"

"Oh well. She can't stop us from seeing you" I protested

"You can't see me if you dead"

"I know! But she won't do that. It'd be bad for her reputation"

"Good point"

"I'm sorry you got told off like that" Estarossa sighed

"Oh that? I've been told off way worse then that before" Meliodas chuckled

"But I hope you didn't mean us when you screamed I hate you two" I joked

"No. I didn't mean you two. I meant the Supreme Deity and Elizabeth"

We heard the door open and all looked back at it. Elizabeth was stood there so Meliodas looked away.

"Is that seriously what you think of me?" Elizabeth asked

We looked at Meliodas who didn't respond.

"Meliodas?" She asked again

"Tell her that I don't want to speak to her"

"Meliodas I'm sorry for what I did but you can't hold it against me"

"Why can't I? You sent a Goddess after a kid. You knew full well who he was and that's why you wanted him dead"

"That's not it----"

"Don't lie to me Elizabeth. You don't like the fact that I'm happier hanging out with Estarossa and Zeldris"

"But I----"

"Elizabeth I know you too well. I know that's the truth. It's why you want to keep me here any means necessary. Even if that means killing them"

Elizabeth went quiet.

"So I'm going to tell you the same thing I told Sariel. The only way you'll be able to hurt these two is over my dead body"

Elizabeth nodded slightly and then left. Meliodas really cares about us.
