chapter 1: shooting star

This night was just like any other, nothing special, Julian was laying on his stomach; reading a book he'd picked up from one of the nearby libraries. The book was about stars, space and constellations, Julian had always enjoyed watching the stars from his bedroom window when he was younger. He still remembered the first shooting star he ever saw, he was fascinated.

It was getting late so Julian decided to go to sleep, but just as he looked up from his book, he noticed what he thought was a shooting star falling from the glittery, purple sky of the night. Strangely, the star seemed to be growing closer, and just like that; the "star" slammed into the park outside the apartment building. Julian was taken aback by all of this happening so suddenly, for a moment he just stood there, staring. Quickly, he snapped out it and stumbled down the stairs to the entrance of the building, AKA where that "thing" that Julian had thought was a star had landed.

Julian hesitantly approached the crash-site; smoke surrounded the area. When the smoke cleared up a little, he decided to investigate; a muffled 'beep...beep.' came from inside the small pod-looking thing. The noise turned out to be an error warning flashing on the screen inside the pod. Julian turned to look at the left side of it, he stopped; didn't dare move incase what he saw was still alive.

wow.. reading fanfictions are a lot easier than writing them I'll tell you that, I completely forgot about this story and didn't write anything in it for ages, sorry. yes i know this is short, but it's the first chapter i mean, c'mon.
