The sun was starting to set and the crew was only three hours into their long drive. Andy leaned against the car window in the back seat, Lewis perched on his shoulder. Benjamin and Kelly sat next to each other in the back as well, and Amy sat up front in the passenger seat next to Isac. In the, not so brief, three hours of the drive Isac had learned quite a bit about the red head he fancied.
"Wait, so that tune you were humming in the library the other day was a song your mother used to sing to you?" Amy nodded,
"Yeah why?" Isac chuckled softly,
"Because that is also a song my mother used to sing to put me to sleep... That is why I was so curious," he admitted. Amy arched her eyebrow,
"Curious, more like livid. Isac, you are aware that you have anger issues right? cause that was not just being curious." Isac sunk farther into the driver seat and nodded.
"Yeah I am aware of that. I've actually been almost two years without an out burst." Amy looked out of the window at the passing cars,
"Well it's nothing to be ashamed about, I have anger issues as well... On that note I'm sorry about bloodying your nose on the plane."
Isac reached up and lightly touched his bruised nose, "Well I did egg you on, by the way are you aware that you have a really hard punch?" Amy nodded with a smile,
"yeah, that's because my dad thought it as necessary to learn self defense when we first moved to New York."
"Well next time you talk to your father, let him know that it payed off," Benjamin pipped quietly from the back. Benjamin was now listening in on Amy and Isac's conversation, since Kelly had fallen asleep.
Just as they began to drive into Edinburgh Amy's eyes started to drupe, that is until something collided into the side of the car, forcing them off the road. The car rolled down the small hill flinging Amy out of the car, the car finally stopped rolling once it collided with a tree.
Amy struggled to her feet and ran down the hill to help the others, her heart raced as she reached the totaled car and she pulled out her phone. "Stop we're fine don't even think about it. by calling the police we'll get into more trouble than we already are," Benjamin said as he climbed out of the car. He then helped Kelly, Andy and Isac out, Isac walked to Amy,
"Are you okay?" he asked putting his hand on her shoulders, Amy jerked away with a hiss and held her left arm close. Isac leaned in and began to examine her bruising shoulder,
"Ben, come here I think her shoulder is dislocated." Isac said as he motioned for Benjamin.
"Not again," Amy complained.
Benjamin began to walk over, "Are you sure?" Isac rolled his eyes and scoffed,
"I'm not the doctor Benjamin, YOU, are." he hissed. Benjamin motioned for Amy to sit down, while he checked her shoulder. Benjamin nodded and stepped back,
"Yep dislocated," Amy stood up, groaning any time she moved her arm.
"Amy, I'm gonna have to put it back in place," Amy nodded and stood up, bracing her self for the pain she was about to feel. Benjamin bent her elbow ninety degrees and pulled her arm away from her, he began to turn her arm counter clockwise until her arm popped back into place.
Andy watched in both disgust and amazement, "How are you not crying out in pain?"
Amy shrugged and began to swing her arms around, "Happens all the time, I'm used to it."
The group gathered in a make shift circle, giving Amy the chance to look over every one. Andy's shirt was ripped and his side was scratched up and bleeding, and the glass shards embedded in his arm twinkled against the light of the moon. Benjamin's nose had been bleeding and judging by the amount of weight that he was putting on his left leg, he most likely sprang his right ankle. Kelly was slightly hunched over and had her arms wrapped around her rib cage, probably caused by cracked or broken ribs, and Isac, well she could tell his nose had been bleeding just as Benjamin's was, and he had a bloodied lip. His nose and lip bleed was most likely caused when his head hit the taxi's steering wheel while the car was rolling, he probably also had a concussion.
"Alright then," Benjamin huffed clasping his hands.
"Is everyone okay," the group nodded while they checked over their own wounds. Amy looked down at her shoulder and down to her wrist, which she was sure was sprang or broken. Her eyes shifted from herself and over to the car, the windows were shattered out and exterior totaled, but something off caught her attention. Three rather large claw like marks stretched across the driver door, Amy switched her gaze back over to Isac and she scanned his injuries once more. There was a deep gash on his upper thigh, 'I wonder what caused that' Amy thought.
"Amy...Amy...Hello Amy!" Benjamin called out trying to snap Amy out of her daze.
Amy turned her attention to Benjamin, his worried look matched everyone else's facial expression, "What?" she answered.
"How much longer did we have till we got to your mothers house, before we crashed?" Kelly asked stepping closer to Benjamin.
"About an thirty minutes... so an hour and a half walk considering our physical states at the moment." Everyone nodded at her answer. Amy looked around again looking for something she couldn't put her finger on,
"Wait... Where's Lewis!"
Amy began to frantically search the area, praying that she wouldn't find her birds dead body. "Lewis! Lewis where are you!"
