Harvey

They’re here. Four girls and three boys, I can take all of them. It’ll be easy once they’re in striking distance. Harvey, let me handle the girls, it’ll be easier when I handle the bundle than the brawny kids. “I can’t let you do that; it’ll be like suicide if I let you handle all four of them. We do it as a team, we’ve survived long enough doing our own routine, let’s do this our own way.”As you say, I only follow what you say to me.

The first girl comes out, she has the sigil of the Phoenix on her gate and she walks calmly for someone who’s walking in on someone as dangerous as me. She spreads her arms and bows. A courteous girl, sad she’ll be dead soon. She explodes and she’s surrounded with black flames, a little girl comes out of the flames and holds her hand, as if it’s asking for permission. Her owner nods and she turns into a big black flaming bird, the Phoenix. She stands still as the crowd roars their cheer.

The second kid comes in; the sigil of two tridents crossing each other while a huge wave of water is behind it. A boy must be twelve or thirteen years old, he plays the innocent role. Most common misconception on the young ones, yeah they look helpless but the moment you get near enough they conjure their shadow to kill you. He lifts his arm and the crowd roars of cheers again. These idiots must be betting on him too, I wonder how many voted for me? They would so win they’re bet if they did bet on me. I’m being ahead of myself again; I haven’t even seen the others yet. He stands still while a shadow under him circling him like he’s its prey, but no one would think he’s the conjurer or the Merman. The shadow leaps from behind him and lands in front of him taking its stance, a trident as a weapon. He’s an easy target; want me to take him out first? “You’re choice, you can own anyone here” Thank you for that compliment Harvey. It’s not a compliment; I know we can deal anyone of them in an instant.

The third person comes out, a girl. Blonde and tall, must be on her teens. She’s gorgeous, the crowd loves her and she dismisses them. Something is wrong with her sigil; it shows a picture of a fairy, the Gaia. They must’ve thought I can’t determine their shadows so they show their sigils carelessly. Behind her; her shadow lengthens itself and forms a fairy on the wall. She forces herself out of her owners shadow; she must be strong because when she lands she made the earth shake. “I’ll take her and her owner, she seems strong, I can use her to our advantage.” As you say.

The fourth kid comes out, another boy. He has the sigil of an anchor and around it are different kind’s weapons, the Blacksmith. He holds a large black hammer on his shoulder. He sets the down the hammer beside him and it starts melting, it pools beside him and then forms its real face. A big bulking man forms beside him and melts again to form a large great sword, the boy carries it like it weighs less than his self. He’s strong, we can use him. We we’re on the same track, we can use brawns like his shadow.

The fifth kid comes out, a girl. Her sigil is an eye inside a triangle, simplistic but really formidable, the Mage. She’s really tiny, must be seven or eight years of age. She’s easy to take out. How show conjures takes time, she really is a mage. A circle forms under her and it moves slightly in front of her, a shadow raises and it forms some kind of cloth thing. She won’t be noticed up close, but I know the Mage. She’s dangerous in long range combats. Is she the one? “Yeah, we can’t mess with her, if we have to deal with her we have to be precise and constant. We have to be wary of her moves too, she’s tricky.” I don’t have to remember her, I know she’s not here to have fun, that’s not her old conjurer, what happened?

The sixth person walks out, a boy. Tall and slightly muscular, must be seventeen or eighteen years of age. His shadow, he can’t control it? Or is it playing.. Tricks. The Trickster, I didn’t notice it on his sigil. It shows the hat of the jester. His shadow jumps, it’s more like a ball that doesn’t want to be tamed. It’s getting closer; it’s stupid enough to get real close to my shadow. A little more, my shadow stomps on the ground to send his own shadow for it; to catch it. Sadly, we don’t play tricks here. He’s got him. He latches himself on the fool to make him stop from jumping. “Dang it! I told you not to be cocky!” his owner knows about my talent. D-D-Don’t w-w-worry. I-i-I got it. He’s got it? Is his shadow insane or something? What you think I’m that easy to catch? My eyesight breaks like pieces of glass and reality is shown in front of me, a tall clown with hollow eye sockets, four arms, and a hollow chest. It’s the epitome of nightmares. Want to see more Orphan? He knows. Before I could even latch onto him he leaps back to his owner’s side. He fooled me too, I’m very sorry. “Its fine, he got both of us. It’s no one’s fault.” He’s new; we also need to watch out for him.

Lastly, the seventh kid walks out, a girl. Her sigil shows an angel with only one wing with one tear on it left eye. The girl eyes me over; she walks really slow, looks like she’s shocked. Does she know me as well? Look very much like it as the expression on her face. She stops under her sigil and she’s engulfed in black flames, it’s as if she herself is burning but she doesn’t flinch. The flames rise higher and a suddenly vanishes and leaves a woman above her and drops in front of her. She spreads her wing, it has daggers instead of feathers. Almost like a Viking of a woman. So, this is him. She’s knows me as well. That’s the Harvey kid? He looks as fragile as a thin glass. It’ll be easy to break him apart. She knows my actual name. So, Anna, should we take care of him?
