"Tune sunna Nandini India chod ke jaa rahi hai.." Cabir said with an emotionless face.

"hmm, bataya Mukti ne. Break-up ke baad nahi mila main usse kabhi, naahi usne milne ki koshish ki. What we had was beautiful but it didn't work out. Shayad humari hi galati thi, dono ki." Manik whispered the last part.

But that was the only sentence that instigated Cabir to give Manik a reality check.

"Humari nahi teri!" he spoke controlling his anger.

"What?!" Manik asked baffled.

"Galti sirf teri thi..Nandini ki nahi. The reason behind your deteriorating relation with Nandini was solely you. Usne toh kya kuch nahi kiya tujhe support karne ke liye, you locked your emotions...YOU pushed her away. You were a dead soul living in a body, Manik! YOU never shared your feelings, your pain...It isn't her fault. Tere parents ki death ke baad you were shattered, you were hurt and you were in so much of pain..woh toh bas help karna chahti thi manik...tere tute huye dil ko jodne ki koshish kar rahi thi...She loved you and you? You, never realised you were stabbing her heart back to back by avoiding her, telling her that you are okay when she certainly knew you were not...we all could see you needed love she was ready to give you that but YOU pushed her away...So don't ever say she was the reason because she was not." Cabir spatted.

"....'we won't work' yehi tha nah tera dialogue that broke her? Itna anda hogaya apne dard main ki tune nah chahte huye bhi apno ko rula diya..unhe majboor kiya tujhe akele chodne ke liye...akela marne dene ke liye.." Cabir's outburst was harsh but full of truth. Manik had to see what his action's consequences were.

Cabir left with a dejected look. He knew Nandini was hurt and this duffer whom be called his best friend was the reason.

Leaving behind a sad and confused manik to ponder on his running thoughts was only cabir could do.

Wasn't that Manik wished for?

To be left alone?

He didn't remember the break up, just a few flashes here and there. He was drunk that day and didn't remember anything specific except the harsh break-up. He did send an apology the next day but it remained unanswered.

"Was Cabir right? I pushed everyone away..I pushed Nandini away? She is hurt? Because of me? In drowning in my own misery I failed to realise I was actually hurting everyone I loved and cared for..God Nandini what have I done! I need to find her..."

"I need to stop her from leaving India, for leaving me! We never confessed but we were happy. She was my star. A star that shined bright for me. She just tried to heal me and look what I did!" He cursed himself for all his wrong doings.

"...ab maine yeh situation ko bigada hai isse sudarunga bhi main hi..."

"Your monster won't let you go.."
